VillaGoMarching
This idea that we can't get the ball down and are a rich mans Stoke is influencing referees. How the hell has that stayed out? Maybe, just maybe it's not their day. TBH, i think Tottenham aren't far from a rich man's stoke.
briggaman
Five minutes to go until half-time and it's Tottenham 0-0 Aston Villa. The hosts probably should be in front by now. Ummmm, isn't this a bit of an odd statement on the BBC site?! Getting very annoyed with the idiots on there. they should be idiot......................whats so odd about that. Sorry internet warrior, I must be an idiot. However, Spurs haven't done enough to be in the lead, therefore why exactly should they be in the lead? Care to explain?! They have had more chances, however they haven't exactly looked convincing....

KAZZAM
Spurs are the longball side they can shut the **** up,Long ball to Crouch nod down to Defoe they do it all the **** time thick yid words removed.
AVFC-Prideofbrum
The only difference between Tottenham's game and our game is there more successful when they play long which they do alot of the time because Crouch is just a giant. Decent first half but they do look really dangerous.

andym
Long ball Spurs not really, thats us. yeah weve been disappointing today no doubt and are not passing it, but spurs are just as bad. all spurs are doing is pumping it long to crouch who then either fouls the defender to win the header (seriously he gets away with so much) or falls over and gets a free kick. EssexVilla
Long ball Spurs not really, thats us. Ye we have played long ball today and in some other gams but it seems to methat the only way forward for spurs is through Crouch.

kurtsimonw
Joe Royal got it spot on really, the Spurs fans may be saying we're playing alot of long ball stuff, but everything they do is a long ball for Defoe to run on to or a long ball for Crouch. Not a good half, but should have had a stone wall penalty, unless Dawson is playing in goal today.
Davies4England
Crap game, both teams playing long ball but they're more effective at doing so. Neither side can play short effectively as the middle of the park is crammed. Downing has been poor and very wasteful to me and Young continually had 2 men on him and blocked out. Gabby has done well but his strike partners are really letting him down today.
Ryan.
I think this game is showing the massive gap we have between midfield and attack,we get in a good position but then have to play it wide!
