VillaAndLoyal
Anything other than a loss or a 0-0 draw. Although we have to be positive, if we play well, we can finish this tie in the first leg.
blandy Posted January 13, 2010 Moderator Share Posted January 13, 2010 Well the snow that is still coming down is more like confetti and is not causing any probs locally. The forecast is for it stop in an hour or so. Then we see a chance of rain tomorrow with the thaw setting in. Sounds like we will be playing. It's piggin snowing again (up here)

The_Lions_Roar
A win is a must. another silly comment added to this thread. if we can go up there and get a draw with an away goal i would be very confident giong into the second leg.Silly? Do you not think a win by a couple of goals would take the pressure off the second leg in what is a big and make it less of a big game in a huge backlog of fixtures? Whatever the result they'll be pressure in the second leg. A win would be great but its not a must.

Fletch
Going to have a bet on this one, we will go through over two legs, but I`m backing the old 1-2 for tonights first leg. Pederson (sp) for them. Carew and Milner for us. (I hope)
holtender1987
Guzan L. Young Warnock Dunne Cuellar A. Young Petrov NRC Milner Carew Gabby Give Downing a break and bring him on as a sub if needed in second half. I think he could do with a break after so many games after the injury. Let him sparkle in short burst for a bit. Completely agree! NRC doesn't deserve to lose his place either after being so god damn good in fa cup! Fletch
Just backed us to win 1-2 and if James Milner scores first....£150. If only. Villa win 1-2 single 8/1 Milner to score first, Villa win 1-2 scorecast. 60/1 James Milner first goal single. 10/
CMduck
us to win 32-0. Or more realisticly 1-3. Is the game confirmed to be on?
bannedfromHandV
A win is a must. Ummmm, no. Were it a one-legged affair then yes, a win would be a must. As we play them at home in a second leg next week then I would suggest a win probably isn't a must.
dudley_villa
2-2 or 3-3 would be just as good with the away goals counting... Cant see them scoring more than 1 at VP so as long as we match them at home should be all good...
VillaChris
Milner is 10/1 to be first goalscorer...think that's a good price if we get a penalty early on as I doubt Carew will start.
dudley_villa
You can get 12's for Milner to score 1st goal with corals... Undesirable
You can get 12's for Milner to score 1st goal with corals... All you need to no if you fancy a punt folks... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/carling-cup/blackburn-v-aston-villa/win-market Do they think Milner is still injured? 12/1 would be reasonable odds if he was in the stands but surely these are way off the mark if he's playing! mjmooney Posted January 14, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted January 14, 2010 James Milner can stay in bed in Birmingham and still score a hat-trick against Blackburn.
