villaguy
Just had a recommended FB page for Lord Aleem, 18 yr old Birmingham lad who has a serious number of nice cars-feeling a little bit of jealousy! villarule123 Posted November 6, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 6, 2013 My daughter managed to sleep from 7.30 til 11.30, wow! Now she's back in our bed and amazingly she's sleeping fine now. When will it ever end?
islingtonclaret
Ohhh intriguing .. I've been asked to quote on a top secret project for Microsoft to do with health and a gadget and it's so top secret i can't be told any-more until our entire office sign a few NDA's ... I've declined anyway as they are Americans but wonder what it could be The gadget is probably a cock-scanner that sees what porn turns you on the most and then XBox Live recommends you the best porn for you, complete with adverts. The health project is probably an add on for the new Microsoft tablet that instantly shoots the user with a sleeping dart when they moan about the fact that the 'Start' button has gone.
coda
That young girl who got killed by her dog. Have you seen the size of the dog they kept in a flat? I know most of the time a dog's behaviour can be blamed on the owners. Why do people with young kids get these huge dogs?

BOF Posted November 6, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 6, 2013 That young girl who got killed by her dog. Have you seen the size of the dog they kept in a flat?If you're on about the picture of the French mastiff that's doing the rounds then police have confirmed that is not the dog that killed her. EDIT : It was a bulldog. They're not exactly massive. I do love hearing all the Helen Lovejoy types that get airtime after events like that who come out with stuff like "make dog muzzling compulsory near children"(1)

Ah, that sounds like the picture. It's a huge beast. I'm still uncomfortable about keeping a bulldog in a flat with a young child.
BOF Posted November 6, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 6, 2013 I don't see the problem with the bulldog in a flat. They're not a big fan of going for walks anyway As for bulldog with child. That's down to the parent. Although getting one from a pound is dangerous as you don't know its past. I'd be nervous bringing any rescue dog into a house that contains a child. villaajax
Still there are plenty of stories of huge dogs eating children.
BOF Posted November 6, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 6, 2013 Always blame the parent. I suppose it's a novel twist on the old parental threat of "I brought you into this world, I'll take you out of it...".
villaguy
It's definitely the parents fault for allowing her child to not be closely supervised near the dog. I have seen on so many occasions children ripping at animals fur and generally being cruel to pets as I'm not sure at that age they distinguish between a living creature and a toy, any dog can snap if it gets mistreated so any adult have to be very vigilant when children are with animals, firstly to teach the child that it is an animal and not a toy, and secondly to prevent a tragedy from unfolding. villarule123 Posted November 6, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 6, 2013 Need some eBay advice peeps.. Why when I search for my item that I'm selling can I not see it on the results? I search for it whilst not being logged in and it still doesn't show unless I type the whole title of the item. It has about 200 views over 7 days but other people selling the same item are getting thousands of views. What the hell am I doing wrong?
BOF Posted November 6, 2013 Moderator Share Posted November 6, 2013 Am I the only one who finds booking flights online to be a nervous and unpleasant experience? The thoughts of the smallest detail being wrong and then only becoming an issue at the gate on the day resulting in no flight, means the heartbeat speeds up as soon as I start the whole process. Then the final proper panic as you click 'purchase' and your brain says "but what if something's wrong?!!?!?!" at the point where there's no going back. Anyway it's done now. Don't like it.
