I've never been one for remembering anniversaries of deaths, too morbid. My mother did though, and was very reproachful that I never remembered the date my dad died. 

She died on my birthday. I'm convinced she did it on purpose.

No, I'm a busy lady these days (usually, off work today though!) but I'm going to try and pop back on here a bit more often!

Well I'd assumed he was lying to get a day off and when he's said 'I need Monday off for my dads anniversary', he didn't realise it was 29th Feb.

I hadn't considered he was being genuine and had marked 365 days on his calendar. To me, that's worse. Unforgivable.

Sorry Dad, I know you died on the 1st March last year but it falls on a Tuesday this year and its just not convenient for me to grieve your loss on that day.
