no im not a man united fan,are you one of the many man united haters? who loves to see them loose just for the sake of it?not exactly a football lesson 2 united errors.

Yes I am a Man Utd hater because 90% of their supporters are glory hunters. I also think it was a footballing lesson that Barca taught them tonight. If you thought it was just two errors that led to Barca winning then you obviously must have turned off for the rest of the match.

Barca were a class above Man Utd, simple as. Whether I hate them or not has nothing to do with it. Barca were simply much better and deserved the win....

Well done to Barca, totally deserved (even if they shouldn't have been there).

Why shouldnt they have been there?

Maybe he thought they were going to get stabbed before the match? It is in Rome after all.

I think he was referring to Ovrebogate.

Final UEFA coefficients for seeding next year's competitions:

1. Barca: 121.853

2. Chelsea/Liverpool: 118.899

4. Man Utd: 111.899

5. AC Milan: 110.581

6. Arsenal: 106.899

7. Sevilla: 100.853

8. Bayern Munich: 98.339

9. Werder Bremen: 91.339

10. Lyon: 91.033

...

29. Spurs: 55.899

30. Newcastle: 54.899 (Had Spurs lost one or two more games in their UEFA cup campaign, then Newcastle would have retained their seat at the European Club Forum, even though they were relegated!)

38. Boro: 48.899

51. Bolton: 37.899

54. Everton: 35.899

62. Man City: 32.899

70. Blackburn: 28.899

91. Villa: 23.899

96. Portsmouth: 21.899

107. Millwall: 16.899

110. All other English clubs: 15.899

How depressing is it that two clubs who are not in the PL are better, in UEFA's eyes, than Villa?

At least for next year's rankings, we gain 22 points on Newcastle (since the '04/'05 coefficient ages out of the system)...
