Luiz was diabolical. Has to be dropped.

McGinn and Diaby summed up the intelligence we showed today by delaying our own penalty that was ultimately missed. Pure stupidity.

Olsen was Olsen but that fourth goal was particularly pathetic.

Cash was Cash playing everyone onside, again.

All in all. A complete shit the bed performance with the only positives being that spurs lost and that multiple villa relationships have been saved by avoiding the “I’m going to Athens for the final” conversation.

His body was moving the other way based on the ball's original path. It's hard to shift back the other way in real time (don't let the slow speed of the replay fool you). He did well just to get a hand to it.

Nah he has to save that

Other goals I'm not fussed by, 1st is a good finish, 2nd he lost the gamble on but the 4th is a bad one

You missed my entire point. He's a backup. Don't expect world class from your backup.

Hes a liability. He’s not good enough even for a backup. Every time he plays he looks calamitous.

It was a freak result. We can beat them Athens because we're a far better side.

We needed a 2 goal advantage but we're going over there with a 2 goal deficit. It's a massive ask to get to the final, I reckon we'll win over there despite the full on atmosphere. Remains to be seen whether we can win by 2 or 3 goals though...

Hope we score two early on and EMI dials his sh*thousery up to 11.

the referee was the worst I’ve seen this season, and I’ve seen nearly every game we’ve played.

Nowhere near worse than the ref for Lille away.

Never mentioned world class at all. League 1 standard would have done tonight. Time for Gauci

It was more weird than terrible.  Such a strange game.

That said, if they can beat us by two at our place, we can beat them by five at theirs.

He wasn’t. He’s been poor for a few months.

All of 2024 basically. He should sit the rest of our games.

Hopefully with Pau, tielemans and Emi back for the second leg we might just have a chance. Still very difficult though.

Would we be Villa if it weren't just this?

The penalty would have helped our cause immensely, but I just know we are capable of going there and getting the right result. An early goal and it's on, "Big Time"!!!

how good was McGuinn? How good was Luiz? How good was Konsa? How good was xxxx

yet you single out Olsen for the defeat....come on, we are all disappointed but to put the blame on Olsen is folly

We missed a penalty

We gave away a really soft penalty

We were denied a clear penalty

They scored a deflection

We had a reserve GK in who most of the crowd dont believe in

We missed a key defender in beating the press

There's a chance next leg.

All the above were shite. But they have enough credit in the bank. Olsen is consistently an embarassment
