Just occurred to me I did actually see Zaniolo play during my Rome hols 4 years ago.

Here's my scouting report from the 18 minutes he was on the pitch:

  • He came on for Justin Kluivert.
  • Sassuolo immediately scored.
  • He won a corner.  Nothing came of it.
  • The game ended.

Strengths:

+Entering the pitch in a timely manner.

+Didn't have that dodgy facial hair yet.

Weaknesses:

May have used his time on the bench to ponder grow dodgy facial hair.

Conclusion:

You're welcome, VT. 👍

I’m impressed that you colour-coded your scouting report.

You can’t leave at it that: is it ‘Stewart’ or ‘Stevvart’?

You'll be asking me for the name of my first school and of my first pet next!!!!

Personally I'm a little bit worried about his terrible injury record. He looks a talented player but he hasn't half missed a whole load of football. Are we limited to transfers where Monchi has worked with the incoming player? This seems a huge risk to me. Maybe not financially, just in terms of wasting a signing.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I seem to recall Tyrone Mings having a similar looking injury history at Bournmouth..

You wouldn't think it was the same player we signed.

I think Zaniolo will be just fine and some injury history to some players need to be taken with a pinch of salt imo.

Paul McGrath says Hi.

He's missed a whole season's worth of games SINCE his ACL injuries though.

It's a low risk loan signing with an option to buy.. there's no harm.

If he breaks down half way through the season and he's done thrn we just take him back to the shop and buy something else with our money instead.

If the club where about to part with £40m-£50m then I would understand the concern from some and I would equally be concerned too.

It's a no risk loan and a very astute piece of business done by the club on this occasion.

I think we should get behind him and see what he delivers rather than worrying about him suffering a reoccurring injury.

Why do people listen to random people on Twitter?

Every reputable jurno etc have said this deal is almost done.

We imported Neuroticism from America, in to our culture.

It was always, only a matter of time.

Exactly. If we had listened to Fergy's assessment of him the guy wouldn't have found a club again.

Turned out to be one of the greatest PL defenders of all time - with two dodgy knees and only light training schedules too.

Martin Laursen is another. We knew his history with AC Milan.. And yes he was also unlucky with injuries in his time with us, but when he played, he was one of our best CB's to wear a Villa shirt! His legend status amongst fans speaks for itself even with his massive injury history he had with us.

Various places saying villa was to renegotiate the deal due to injury concerns.

This one's become very frustrating. Other places saying Acuna should be signing for us today or tomoz.

What would normally be exciting and entertaining is becoming frustrating due to our current injury list.

So we trust this source do we?

Just checking for next time.

Oh mate. Don’t. Di Marzio deleted his copy and totally re-wrote it. They haven’t here. Quit your fishing expedition.
