I Make Pies Posted August 26, 2023 Share Posted August 26, 2023 19 year old attacking midfielder signed from WBA a few weeks ago. He was one of their best prospects a couple of years ago but didn't manage to progress to their first team. I remember him being good at carrying the ball through midfield and having a burst of pace, like a left footed Jacob Ramsey. He is well known to our academy staff so maybe they think he can make a step forward with us. Hope so, but the odds are against him given his age and the amount of competition. OutByEaster? Posted September 1, 2023 Moderator Share Posted September 1, 2023 Decent performance and they worked hard to see it off - the new manager is a madman, he's fantastic! It was played at a pace and with aggressin, Derby were very physical and seemingly unbookable but we prevailed through good football in the first half and determination in the second.. Good to see a fine group watching on - Kellyman, Revan, Chrisene and Swinkels all in attendance. Pleased that Broggio scored on his debut and loved the moment as he was coming off the pitch after the game when Tristan Rowe was giving him stick for not doing the celebration they'd practised.
