We’re very likely to happily settle into a solid mid table spot and spend the rest of the season planning for the summer and getting the existing squad up to speed with Emery’s approach. People don’t understand delayed spending and gratification. We care about what Villa do over the next 10 years, not for the rest of this season. It’s so short sided and gives the club and Emery zero credit. You sell when others are paying premium prices, and you buy when you can get a deal. It’s basic finance.
