I'm not opposed to signing him, just think we've left ourselves short selling Ings. Don't think he'll massively improve us, but we need someone until summer. On the Dembele signing, I think there's enough variables to be happy whether we sign him or not. There's good and bad in his history, and probably caveats that can be applied to both. So much so that of he signs, we can easily justify the bad with Emery knows better, and if he doesn't sign, justify missing out on the good with Emery knows better. It's a win:win situation. However, if its an Emery type of player and one that he wants...rather than a Lange experiment....then i have more faith in Emery that this...if it was to happen is probably a good signing. We just need someone else in that position. Watkins is inconsistent in front of goal, and there is no way Bailey will not pick up an injury between now and the end of the season.
