Chicken Field Posted October 26, 2023 Share Posted October 26, 2023 Emery seemed to try to use him en Diaby's striker role, which Bailey struggled with, combined with low confidence from a tough start to Villa life, a victim to Gerrards tenure and injuries, it's no wonder he struggled. I just dont quite see Zaniolo as the same as the others you listed. Bailey in a front 3 can be useful in a game where we want lots of width.
