Kuwabatake Sanjuro
Mercedes a second a lap quicker this weekend by the looks of it. They have the clear upper hand at this stage anyway.

OutByEaster? Posted October 23, 2021 Moderator Share Posted October 23, 2021 Lewis and Max front row up the hill - should be fun.
Farlz
Ahh Checo so close, that RB 1-2 would've been ideal. He's looking good this weekend though. Max and Lewis going into the first corner tomorrow is going to be feisty, someone is getting pushed off.
OutByEaster? Posted October 23, 2021 Moderator Share Posted October 23, 2021 If I were Perez I'd take it easy to the first corner, there might be a chance for him to lead into the second one. 2

Kuwabatake Sanjuro
Perez's excellent tyre management might play a big factor in it.

OutByEaster? Posted October 24, 2021 Moderator Share Posted October 24, 2021 The Red Bull is quick - Lewis will need a bit of luck in his stops.

How did Hamilton lose so much time on Verstappen. He was half a second ahead when Verstappen boxed and was nearly 7 seconds behind by the time he'd finished hit pitstop. Have Mercedes **** up the strategy leaving him out too long or was there a problem with the pitstop?

I wondered the same, my boy came into the room and was rambling nonsense and next time I looked he’s 6 seconds down.

The logic will be that at the end of this stint Max will be struggling and Lewis will catch him
OutByEaster? Posted October 24, 2021 Moderator Share Posted October 24, 2021 Yep, Mercedes are setting this up for Lewis trying to overtake Max in the last few laps of the race. What could possibly go wrong?

Stevo985 Posted October 24, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted October 24, 2021 Yeah not much action on track but the difference in the Mercedes’ and Red Bull tactics is making it more interesting

Nothing really happening aside from that “maybe” event. If Lewis doesn’t catch and pass Max at the end it’ll be a massive anti-climax Edited October 24, 2021 by Genie
