I was just gonna post the same thing. Its frustrating how they can’t be adjusted for wet conditions. Inevitably they’ll get going for a load of laps being the safety car to extend the boredom. The adjustment would have to be at such a fundamental level it'd mean a completely new set of guidelines and something that would end up being sort of un-Formula 1. It's a pity, but not fixable - F1 sometimes struggles with the balance between entertainment and safety, this season particularly where I'm not sure any race has made it through the first three of four laps without a safety car or some sort of stoppage - but you can't blame them, this isn't ancient Rome and safety should come first. leemond2008 Posted August 29, 2021 Share Posted August 29, 2021 I switched it off house ago, only had a look because I hadn't had any notifications through on my phone about it, I put it on just to get confirmation that it had been cancelled and the safety car was still trundling around the track.
