Blose have cardoff tomorrow night if they lose that, they have leicester at home saturday which will be a very tough game for shrek.

They could be very close to relegation zone if they lose those two

I've got my prayer mat on standby 🙏

Leicester is a Monday night game as it happens.

Cardiff and Leicester on the face of it are two difficult games where I would imagine expectations aren’t too high in getting many points from.

After that it’s Plymouth, Stoke and Bristol City to see out the year. They’re currently 18th, 19th and 14th respectively so if they struggle for a win there it would presumably leave Rooney and them further in the mire.

Desirable on what basis? I'd love to know what genuine reasons Waggeh has for thinking that, but obviously that would require communicating with them so I'll pass.

I think the owners have done a fab job in gaslighting the fan base 😂

Stoke City would be a far more desirable job. Better stadium and billionaire owners. Quite how they are so shit is anyones guess!

Their new owners are worth nine billion, or so I've read, they're going to invest hundreds of millions not just in the club but the whole region and become a beacon of light for the City, Cook says he wants them to be Birmingham's best known brand if they're not already, he also says the City needs them more than the club needs the City, in the long-term they're going to be building a new stadium to help with revenue, it's strongly rumoured that they want the 'wheels site', they will be investing money this summer as the current three year FFP cycle ends, so they will have more scope to spend, they've also got some big earners coming to the end of their contracts Gardner and Hogan amonst them, which will also help, they want to have the best academy in the region, and get the women's team back to being one of the best in the country, and so on.

It seems the owners are gaslighting themselves then. The club has no pedigree or notable success whatsoever, aside from being a shower of shite since 1875. There’s no way they will ever be successful. They are better off folding the club, knocking down the Sty and building a Casino complex or something on the site.

Birmingham having two solid PL teams will only be a plus for the city.  One of the few positives of the championship years was being able to 6 pts off of them every season.

Only thing really missing from from this current stay in PL is a side to purely despise. Wolves just isn't cutting it.

The profit and sustainability calc is a rolling one in the championship, just like the PL. They will be losing a year when they made a chunky loss off the bottom of that rolling cycle but it still doesn't leave them much to spend.  They cant go and spunk the 39m in this year and hope to not lose anything in years 2 and 3.  They're always sitting on a ~£12m loss for the last two seasons, so have ~27m available. But if they use that, they can only spent about 4m next season.

The lack of stadium revenue will be hurting them from that perspective and whilst they will lose some high earners, they're going to have to replace them or they'll have no experience on the squad.

Stadium costs come out of their P&S calcs too so not sure how they plan to get any of their 9bn into the club...?
