Think Watford are using Udinese as a holding position and will take back Deluefeou if they come straight back up, possibly Roberto Pererya aswell.

Have to think he's better than bottom half Serie A team although he is coming back from serious injury.

Always funny watching teams scramble around on deadline day trying to make signings happen. No doubt plenty will fail because they "ran out of time"

Forest signing Cafu, didn't they have a Pele on their books a few seasons ago.

Celtic signing Diego Laxalt looks a better signing than many defensive moves premier league clubs have made, decent player in Serie A and for Uruguay but lost his place at Milan to Theo Hernandez.

Laxalt is dreadful, was never a regular for Milan. Wouldnt be surprised if he struggled in Scotland

Partey to Arsenal a done deal then. Torreira going the other way on loan.

He is a brilliant footballer, reads the game so well, dynamic, athletic, can pick a pass and has been a big big player for Atleti in the last couple of years in particular.

But the way he has left Atleti has incensed the fans and Simeone most notably (apparently). Didn't have the decency to inform the club his release clause had been met and that he was leaving - seemingly the first the club heard of it was when La Liga informed them the clause had been met and he had cancelled his contract unilaterally. The Spanish press are going to have a field day with this one.
