Summer Transfers 20/21 (Or what to loot during the apocalypse)

PSG this summer

OUT - silva, cavani, meunier, areola, choupo-moting

IN - florenzi, Rafinha, danilo, Sergio rico, icardi, kean

with the wages of silva and cavani off the books they've probably broke even but **** me that's a bad window, florenzi is a good signing but the midfield is chock full of players who aren't good enough for where they want to be, very strange

Seen it suggested that Qatar would lose interest once their WC had been held but I doubt it. Think even them are feeling the financial strain of Covid-19 and at the same time might be in a bit of limbo of where to go next with stars like M'bappé and Neymar wanting to leave next summer.

It's a shame they have not given their excellent youth academy more time. Could have had a very exciting team in 3 years time.

There's not a chance mbappe and neymar leave before the world cup, they should be the best 2 players in the world by then

The 2 stars of the Qatari World Cup playing for a Qatari owned club side

Its almost like they did it on purpose...

But the squad building around them is horrific

Rumour is they are saving for Mbappe next summer

see above, I just don't see it, the Qataris letting their star players go before their world cup

see also above, PSG have had a relatively quiet summer so they maybe wont have any FFP issues and don't need the money, don't think either have a buy out clause, PSG can say no and I think Neymar goes first anyway if they were forced to sell one of them

Both their contracts end in 2022 thou (according to Transfermarkt so might be wrong) and at least Mbappé has stated he wont sign a new one. That could obviously change.

But next summer could be the last opportunity for them to get a big fee before they lose them for nothing.

And the 2022 WC is scheduled in December, after their contract have ran out with PSG

How much is Butland going for as Small Heath will get a fair chunk of that money.

Think it might be a free transfer if it goes through. His contract is up at the end of the season and Stoke want his wages off the books

Brilliant. love this for two reasons, one because it screws Small Heath over and even better it serves Stoke right. We had a deal agreed and they tried to squeeze a couple of extra million out of us, that proper bit them on the arse.

For all the talk of Brentford being professionally run, shrew negotiators, only sell at their price etc etc, haven't they been right up screwed with the Benrahma deal now? Season long loan with some kind of agreement to make it permanent?

Sky reporting an initial fee of £1million with significant add ons

Nixon tweeting its £500k with a few add ons

Wither way it's a massive come down from the £20million+ they quoted us just over a year ago

I've just read that the deal for blues was 15% on any future transfer profit

As stoke are selling him at a loss, small heath get 15% of nothing
