Popular Post useless
Everton have been having a similar season to us and were in as good form as anyone going into yesterday's game, so beating them away from home was a very good result, I wouldn't have been disappointed with a draw. Good battling performance against a very decent side, played some good football at times too, could have scored more goals, the two that we did score without reply means that our goal difference is positive again, another three WSL goals and we will have scored as many this season as we have in last two seasons combined.

robby b
On Sunday both the men's and women's teams will be playing West Ham away in the league at the same time (for about 45 minutes as the men kick off at 2 and the women at 3).
useless
Milly Round scored for England U17 this morning in first Euros qualifer game, 4-0 win v Croatia, Ruby-Rae Tucker was on the bench. Not involved today, but Mia Sorrentino made her debut last month in 3-1 defeat to USA and scored.

turvontour
Another win. Three points behind Arsenal, this side has come on so much this season. Youd think with a few more additions should be in a position to contend with the top teams?

robby b
Well done Hannah with a crucial save in the bottom corner with three minutes to go! If Reading can just somehow beat Arsenal now... (yeah right).
useless
Good win, two very different but very good goals, Kirsty Hanson showing both sides of her game with the assists, first pressing to set up Daly and then good wing play to assist Nobbs. We're now fifth with a six point gap between us and Everton, albeit they have a game in hand, and also have a ten point advantage over West Ham in seventh, so looking very good for a top six finish now, and have a good chance of top five.
Popular Post useless
Hanson is now joint second best assister in the league, seven assists and three goals, up until Christmas she had something like one assist and no goals, so her form recently has been phenomenal, such a battler as well, wins the ball back so many times. Kenza Dali has similar stats, four goals and six assists in WSL. Nobbs has six goals now, only four players in the WSL have scored more than her this season, one of them Daly of course. Four brilliant additions to our attack that have made a big difference. She's not scoring or assisting as many just one of each for her this season, but have been impressed with Lehmann recently as well, seems to have improved her overall game. 7

ferguson1
Having watched the game in full yesterday and most games this season, we really are a pleasure to watch. Really good football. Quite rightly, Hanson, Daly and Dali deserve all the accolades but we have real quality all over the pitch now. Hannah Hampton will be knocking on the England door again soon no doubt and Danielle Turner probably deserves consideration as well. Going under the radar a bit have been Sarah Mayling and Maz Pacheco, both of whom are very solid and dependable. I’ve been really impressed with both of them. Finally, the signings of Staniforth and especially Nobbs in January were truly inspired. If we can add two, three or four additions of similar calibre in the summer, maybe just maybe, we can really push the top four teams. Already we’re establishing ourselves as the best of the rest, which again is truly remarkable after only a couple of seasons in the WSL. Onwards and upwards, UTV.

She looked so pissed off and just absolutely leathered it. But the second was a thing of beauty. Just a genius team goal like we do again and again this season. Reminds me of Arsenal in their pomp 20 years ago. Movement is amazing.

Haha, yes she did seem annoyed. Great strike of the ball though. I must admit, that one West Ham CB is a bit of a nasty piece and kicks anything that moves. We’re really building something and Carla Ward deserves a lot of credit here.
colhint
She's got it all, outside the box strikes, first time hits, tap ins, right place right time. And the best attacking header in England. No glances from her, Andy Lochhead every time.
useless
Ruby-Rae Tucker started for England U17s earlier today as they beat Belgium 4-0, Milly Round was on the bench, if they avoid defeat at the weekend against Norway then will qualify for the Euros in the summer. Our U21s beat Brighton 4-0 yesterday, nine wins from the last ten in the league now, top of the league, but Man United just three points behind with a game in hand and better goal difference. Also on first team news good to see Anna Leat in the latest training photos, we've been without a keeper on the bench for last few games, she's been very good for us when called upon, not sure how long it can last but are lucky to have two very good goalkeepers, also Simone Maghill and Remi Allen in the training photos.
