9 off top 2 already after an ‘easy run of fixtures’ to start the season. Grim. My grandchildren will be lucky to see us play in the top level again! Club is rotten.

We’re not rotten, there are grounds to say we were rotten, but now we’re in transition. New owners and new CEO have so far instigated a scouting  clear out, coaching clear out, interviews done for a technical director and performance director and now of course we are about to appoint a new manager. It’ll take time and patience, but at least we’re makimg a start.

Have never got into a rhythm in this game. It suits Millwall to play this bitty, stop start, sort of match. They might be a terrible side but they’ve got our number.

when was the last time we actually got into a rhythm

And definitely to approach yet more dropped points.

Apologies for picking on your post here - but I'm baffled how people look at these games as dropped points. Like we start games from a winning position - we've got half a squad, our front line are top three, our back line are bottom three - I don't think we're dropping points, I think we're pretty much on par for where this squad should be. We're getting the points we deserve. If people are pacing us by the point gained by the top two, I think people are being very, very optimistic.

The next manager needs to kick some ass!

Kicking ass doesn't magic up defenders.

Our managerial problems aren't with the way this squad is being managed, although there are improvements that can be made, our managerial problems are in not building a full team. A new manager won't change this until January.

0 out of an available 3 points = dropped points, whichever team is playing. And in this league, promotion comes with winning 66% of the available points. Villa are at 41%.
