NoelVilla
Kozak is finished with football. He wasn't very good in the first place and now he haven't played for 3 - 4 years.

Stevo985 Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 Drop Lansbury and Kodjia, probably our two best players, and bring in Kozak anbd one of the worst players in the squad, Gardner. Michael118 in!

Hutton has been replaced by Bree. Amavi likewise with Taylor (and considering last week, Bjarnesson was preferred over him at LWB speaks volumes too) Bacuna and Gardner in a middle three, with both Bjarnesson and Lansbury(!) on the bench - neither of your starters have exactly flourished, hence the radical January overhaul. Grealish is suspended so cannot be selected.... (most people have commented on this is the Jack Grealish and Forest threads as it cost us the game) Kodjia benched and replaced by Kozak who has no legs and hasn't featured in a competitive match for some time and not even the U23s. I'm sorry Michael but that is an abhorrent first XI. Edited February 11, 2017 by theboyangel

nnock1984
Johnstone Chester Elphick Baker Bree Taylor Lansbury Thor Hourihane Kodjia Hogan This would also be my strongest 11 aside from Jedi in for Thor.

I'm sorry Michael but that is an abhorrent first XI. Bree is only 19 years old and Hutton didn't need replacing. Amavi is our best player by a mile and it just shows how little idea Bruce has if he plans to replace him with Taylor or Bjarnason. We needed midfielders in January but we needed better than Lansbury and Bjarnason. I selected Gardner because he has some potential but also because he's better defensively than Lansbury and we need that in the absence of Jedinak. I brought Kozak straight in because I rate him highly. If he's fit and playing with confidence he's a Premier League quality striker and better than Kodia and Hogan. Not Thor's position though that, he's left sided isn't he? If you mean Thor behind Lansbury and Hourihane then I'd use Gardner, if you mean in front then could possibly put Lansbury and Gardner together with Hourihane behind the two up front. Could Green do a job in there? With Lansbury and Hourihane behind? Or only a wide forward? All of a sudden we look light in the "hole" (queue MM gif) with Grealish suspended. We have Gil on our books who would be awesome there IMO...
