romavillan Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 Apart from Hutton that's pretty much what most people were thinking, apart from the radical genius people are so wrongly scoffing at.
TheMightyVillans
thought we had seen the last of hutton... prefer bacuna as wing back.
DCJonah
Hutton over Bacuna as a wing back is the kind of stupid decision Bruce seems to be making more of. Lansbury defensive mid again. **** great.

PieFacE Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) I'd much rather Bacuna play that role over Hutton. At least he would give us something going forward. I'd even play Adomah there above Hutton... Edited February 11, 2017 by PieFacE

Surely a key part of a wing back is what they offer going forward. There is nothing Hutton offers in an attacking sense. Pressure on Taylor to be our attacking wide outlet.
DoubtGin
Good lineup apart from Hutton.

Or 3 depending on how you look at it. 3 centre backs does not necessarily mean it's negative.

romavillan Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 You'd want Bacuna and Thor, instead of Hutton and Taylor, for it to be a 3?
Wainy316
Gonna be a frustrating one. At least we might have some possession this week though,
sne
All depends on what instructions Hutton and Taylor have been given by Bruce. Hopefully this time it isn't a cautious stay home back 5 but rather a high tempo pressing wide 3-5-2. Also hope our wide players have the skill to carry this out. Jimzk5
Confirmation that Johnston will play regardless of form then.
PieFacE Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 You really do have to question why Hutton is playing here? What's the logic behind that considering the other options on the bench. Incredibly disappointing and very negative for a home game.
AVTuco Posted February 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2017 I don't think Hutton makes our formation negative. He just makes it shit.
