Was a tame header. Would have caught it if he was on his line.

Even if he put the header over I'd say it was an error. 

I've often defended him but that was a big error.

He was not standing on his line, he was on the six yard line. He only took a step and a half forward to get to the header, he wasn't going to run backwards away from it. 

I think the defender should have been marking goal side.

I don't think it was, but fair enough.

I do think he should have started coming a fraction earlier though, then roofe wouldn't have been near it.
