VT Supporter Stevo985 Posted October 2, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 2, 2014 If Delph doesn't stay in after his last performance then there's something wrong. Deserves it.
VT Supporter Nigel Posted October 2, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 2, 2014 At last they seem to be doing the right thing with the youngsters! If they play well they should play for the u21s, not the full team. Plenty of time for that. Shaw, Chambers and the like will progress much more away from the intense media scrutiny of the national team.

PaulC
To be fair Cahill is one of the best cbs in europe now. Townsend I think could have offered something in the world cup. At least he has a go. Delph is a given. He's a first team starter now for me.
rodders0223
Lambert shouldn't be in there. 'Different option' or not. You don't play for your club then you don't play for your country.

You don't play for your club then you don't play for your country. Agreed. There are exceptional circumstances, but safe to say Lambert doesn't qualify as one of them.
