CVByrne Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Guinness from bars that sell really good Guinness (ie only in a few places in Ireland) 1
PieFacE Posted June 12, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) On pretty much every night out I have, start with a few lagers, usually 3 or 4. Then hit the JD for the rest of the night, spoiling it with Diet Coke. Edited June 12, 2014 by PieFacE
Folski Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I'm quiet partial to a Corona or 6, think they are lovely. A hot sunny day and a corona is heaven
Meath_Villan Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Murphy's > Guiness murphys is what guinness used to be
Seat68 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 On a hot day magners. First thing in the morning coffee, when I am hungover banana milkshake, sauvignon blanc or jim beam and ginger for the other times.
Stevo985 Posted June 12, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 12, 2014 I like lager. Not bottled piss, like carling and Fosters etc. Nice lager like Amstel, Estrella Damm, San Miguel or even Heineken on the continent
CVByrne Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Murphy's > Guiness murphys is what guinness used to be Try drinking Guinness in a proper Guinness pub. Guinness is dirt and mostly undrinkable in the majority of places that sell it. But a proper pint of the stuff is untouchable
dAVe80 Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 I used to drink gallons and gallons of Guinness, but can't recall the last time I had a pint, since I discovered Real Ale. Mars Milkshake is possibly my favourite drink, but I don't have it too often, cus it's not good for you innit.
mjmooney Posted June 12, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 12, 2014 Good: Tea. Filter coffee. Water. Semi-skimmed milk. Draught ale. Good bottled lager. Scotch. Cognac. French red wine. New Zealand white wine. Bad: Mass market lager. Gin. Fizzy pop, e.g. Coke. Smoothies. Full fat milk. Skimmed milk. Neutral: Anything else. 1

Rodders Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 based on a recent trip to Belgium it's my new favourite beer. Otherwise, if budget's allow, a good rioja or pinot noir or single malt whiskey or morgan's spiced rum. or a lynchberg lemonade. or most ales from bath based breweries. - bath gems ale is lovely.
