jacketspuds
Brilliant. According to SKY we are Newcastle's favourite opponent from a results perspective. Balls.

R.I.C.O.
Cant see anything other than an easy victory for those geordie words removed with a few of their players breaking their ducks. We always bend over and take it up the arse for teams on bad runs.
Electric Avenue
After 12 days off, if the lads don't look fit, refreshed and a yard sharper than them id be disappointed
The_Steve
Baker did fine against Cardiff, tough tackling might work in his favour today.
R.I.C.O.
After 12 days off, if the lads don't look fit, refreshed and a yard sharper than them id be disappointed Come on, this is Lambert's coaching methods we are talking about. He probably had them kicking a football against a brick wall. Edited February 23, 2014 by R.I.C.O.

bradarmstrong_
Weimann over Albrighton is disappointing.
Danwichmann
Why no Albrighton? He's the only player who's been consistently creating chances for Benteke. I don't get it. I assume because we're away from home against what many would see as a strong team, we're set up for the counter attack. Expect very little possession. Yeah but to counter attack we still need to be able to get the ball to our strikers, Albrighton is the only player who has done that recently. Mr_Dogg
Anyone see that interview with Pardew? What an arsehole. Just in general, he didn't say anything specific.
Dr_Pangloss
Albrighton should be starting, it's as simple as that, he's better going forward than Weimann and better defensively too.

Jimzk5
Another free pass for weimann who has been pish this season.
AVTuco Posted February 23, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted February 23, 2014 Baker did well at Cardiff, but benching Clark is a good way to get rid of some of the confidence Clark has built this season. What's he have to do to stay up. I don't like it, no need to mess with what's working. UTV! Go win it guys!
Dr_Pangloss
Baker did ok against Cardiff but was very lucky not to give away what was a clear stonewaller. Point being that he's a liability even at the best of times.
The_Steve
I think Albrighton is better suited as an impact player. You're never quite sure which version of Weimann will turn up.

NSmith22
Baker was superb at Cardiff I thought Cardiff got thrashed by Hull yesterday... We should have nicked 2 goals in that game. Baker playing well against Cardiff doesn't really do much for me.
AVTuco Posted February 23, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted February 23, 2014 I for one am happy that Andi starts. If he doesn't show up, get Marc in there. I like Marc as a sub.
