AVFCforever1991 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) Into the final against Sweden after a shutout against the US.. GO CANADA!!!!!!! Edited February 21, 2014 by AVFCforever1991 1
Wainy316 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Anyone see Ashley Westwood on the men's curling team?
NoelVilla Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 **** YOU SWEDEN, **** YOU! Truth to be told, we were missing 3-4 of our best players, but in four years Barkov, Granlund, Teravainen, Maatta etc. are much better players, and Filppula and Koivu are still just over 30 so gold in next olympics. Fortunately Team USA will wipe the floor with the swedes. Ok so Henrik Sedin and Henrik Zetterberg are not missed in the Sweden team?..better luck next time Finland 1
NoelVilla Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 That avatar girl is even uglier than Perry btw Hey, did you win silver?
Matt1874 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Anyone see Ashley Westwood on the men's curling team? Was thinking the same thing
CardiffGreens Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 This men's slalom 2nd run makes entertaining viewing - after 20 skiers so far, about 13 have failed to finish the course!
maqroll Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 Into the final against Sweden after a shutout against the US.. GO CANADA!!!!!!! He looks like a little Rob Ford 1
CardiffGreens Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) Nearly over We'll always have the memories though, especially of those Norwegian curling trousers! But yeah, can't believe it's been 2 weeks already. I'll have to pop down to the big blue tent to get my winter sport fix now I guess! Edit, at least there is still the 4 man bob to enjoy this evening. Edited February 22, 2014 by CardiffGreens
Jarpie Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) Great ending for the career of probably the greatest finnish hockey player of all time, shame we couldn't get to play for the gold but bronze is won medal. This team really feels like 'passing the torch' with Granlund and Selänne playing on same line up, and pairing the young defenders with the veterans. Edited February 22, 2014 by Jarpie

The_Rev Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Not bad for a country which doesn't have a bob sled track. Edited February 23, 2014 by The_Rev 1
AVFCforever1991 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 And boom Canada takes the Gold!!, perfect way to end.. Good game, especially in the early exchanges it looked like Sweden would score.. Defence held strong, Brilliant performance. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist
