Vossen has scored 100 goals in 240 games for Genk but has recently been on loan at Brugge, scoring 6 goals in 17 appearances, the Birmingham Mail reports,

He was on loan in 09/10, hardly recent.

Spending what you can't afford just to please the fans is an incredibly dangerous road to take.

Don’t talk nonsense, fans getting a quick bolt of excitement is far more important than a structured plan.

Survive on the cheap. What a great structured plan we have in place.

Yes because getting value for money in January always happens.

I hope we do sell, you clearly only want the club to be run well and not a sugar daddy to spunk loads on exciting players, no not spending any money honest.

Its hilarious fans getting in a pickle, all experts at what we can or cannot do, all experts on contacts and what players do or don’t want.

We’re mid table closer to the teams above us than below yet still its the apocalypse if we don’t sign anyone.

Its not an apocalypse its dissapointing that we can't improve the squad and that the manager, who most have complete faith in, hasn't been backed.

TBH its no surprise to see people defend Lerner over lack of spending. They did it last Jan when we were really desperate so of course they'd do it now.

I'm guessing Gentleman and Richard are feeling very sheepish

Don’t be silly, its not like they said something was going to happen numerous times!

Never ITK, if you were you would know better to say things would be happening, grown men as well.

Oh, get over yourself.

What would you prefer, a few signings now to keep the fans happy or more significant investment in the summer where you get better rates. Fulham and West Ham are panic buying some will work some won’t and they’ll be stuck with players on high contracts like we’re still trying to get rid off. Its quite clear we won’t go down that route as its taken us ages to get rid of said players.

How do you know that Lambert hasn’t been backed, he might have been but he couldn’t get his targets, he shouldn’t just get any old player he should get the ones he wants. Not ones to please fans, because when said player is shit in a few months time its the team and him that is effected and the fans who craved signings moaning again..
