Didn't want him as our manager but he got the job so he gets my backing. But I am struggling to see any improvement over the previous manager, I cannot see what the game plan is, I see him not make the substitutions that are glaringly obvious and not convinced he knows yet what his best starting eleven is let alone what formation they should be playing. The next game is a must win if he wants to keep his job.

The battery on my Nexus 5 is not even lasting half a day so the news that the new Nexus' or Nexii could be announced by the end of the month is great. Not sure about the rumoured bump around the camera though, hope it looks better in the flesh.

In the end I didnt care about any of the characters which in itself tells its own story.

The latest series of Ripper Street is excellent. Mr Robot, 2 episodes in and it has great potential.

Story is way to complicated for its own good and everyone talks very quietly so you dont get everything they are saying........ Series 3 (if there is one) needs to be a much simpler tale.

Its got to the point where I dont know what the story is anymore. Some Black guy appeared last night about 10 minutes from the end and I swear I have never seen him before. I will watch the last episode just to see if it makes any sense. No where near series 1.

Does look like an ideal replacement for a Nexus 5. Its going to be a choice of this or possible one of the new Nexus phones when announced, obviously this has price on its side from the off. Have signed up to their invite system and will see how long it takes to come through.

My daughter is 10 and I dont think I would let her walk 40 minutes to home at that time of night. I played over the park or down Leasowes woods when I was 11 or 12 but I suppose the difference was that it was 5 minutes from home and was usually with friends when walking back.

You said as a parent you CAN understand letting them walk home. I was being like totes hilarious. Ah yes I meant cannot understand.

So presumably Sky will charge extra for UHD. Where does that leave HD? Will they have a 3 tier service. Would be interested in their new service but cannot help thinking it will cost an extra arm and a leg.

Anyone changed the battery on a Nexus 5 or got it done somewhere. LG wont do it as its out of contract and have put me in touch with a company who have quoted £45.00, wondering if its worth having a go myself.

Just saw on the BBC that the 7 year old boy who went missing yesterday evening in Barsnley, the police have found a body. Then I read further down that where the boy was playing was a 40 minute walk from his house. As a parent I can comprehend how someone can let their 7 year old child walk home at 8.00 oclock at night on his own, it beggars belief.

I read an article the other day about Formula 1 where it was stated that the desired result was to just break even every year as it is no good finishing down the grid and having money in the bank. You would have thought that Fox would have a similar philosophy down Villa Park, the higher we finish the more prize money we make, the better sponsorship deals we can broker, the bigger crowds we attract and the better players we can sign. Rinse and repeat. Now even allowing for FFP we must surely have been in a position to spend £15 million as we spent £6 million last year but then also tried to buy Cleverley for £8 million (making £14 million). You would hope that Lerner and Fox are not going to penny pinch and only spend what we have brought in in sales (or even less) as that gamble could end up costing the club 10 times more and would certainly mean that Lerner would not be able to sell the club for anywhere near that valuation. Tom Fox needs to prove he knows what he is doing between now and the start of the season or he might find he comes under a bit more scrutiny by the Villa fans than he has had so far.

Really enjoyed last weeks episode ending with the shoot out but then watching this weeks it was like we had missed an episode. I am beginning to think when we get to the end I wont understand the answer.

Never rated Austin but when you look at how many goals he scored in a poor QPR side and being English with an opportunity to maybe get into the Euros squad I have to say I would take him. Now that Newcastle have signed 2 strikers it may be worth a cheeky offer. Being devils advocate why is nobody else after him? why did he turn them down? Didnt like Ostrich sandwich
