I would first give everyone strict roles and areas of the pitch they need to be in. I would also play Clark over Baker for slightly better distribution from the back. Guzan Lowton Vlaar Clark Bertrand Albrighton Westwood Delph Bacuna Helenius Benteke Put albrighton and Bacuna out wide and tell them to stay on their lines and defend the width. Have Helenius drop deep to pick up the ball and tell Delph to join in the attack whenever he can. On second thought I wouldn't mind keeping Baker though

Same Delph that can't pick a pass to save his life? I love Delph but highly overrated here just because he can skin someone every now and then and bang in an odd goal. He struggled in the same role because he doesn't immediately know where his next pass is going to go. Spends far too much time on the ball thinking.

Three or four times, he had someone on his back and he would just take one touch to turn away, nullify them, and get the attack going. One of the only players today that didn't dawdle on the ball and passed it first time.

Yes he may not being played because of the money situation But some serious revisionism if you think he brings anything to the team. Awful player.

It's not that strange. We've gone into plenty of games without a LB on the bench. I think Herd is usually there for an emergency RB anyway.

I thought initially there was going to be a day night cycle which would have been interesting. Now it's just pretty bleh.

Maybe I've just played too much BF over the years. It's just not as fun for me. If you've never played it and switched over from COD, I can see how it can be a revelation but BF4 doesn't really make anything that more interesting. We already 64 player servers back in the day and the Levolution thing is pretty crap. Only Siege of Shanghai actually makes a strategical difference for it. I think I'll pass on BF5

Played it on the PC for a few rounds. It's fun in a casual sort of way. But color me pretty unimpressed. Is everything going to keep running of the source, unreal, and ubisoft engines from now on? Graphics are very uninspired and while I do like the encouragement of non conventional movement (wall running and double jumping) it's certainly nothing that hasn't been done before or isn't a mesh of other shooters like Tribe and Quake or even Brink. Add to that the low time to kill and the no recoil and it's killed what little expectations I had. Also HATE the grunt AI. Pointless filler. I saw a comment and agree with it wholeheartedly. "This looks like a good game for fans of shooters who aren't good at shooters." They try to make things EPIC like calling the Titan down and the final escape, but its very much pandering to the bro-shooter crowd. Makes sense that websites like it as they're traditionally horrible at actually playing online.
