    Piqué, Alba, Busquets, Suarez. What do they all have in common? They are all Messi's buddies, they are all no longer good enough for Barcelona, They are all on huge multi year deals, Barca can't get rid of any of them. Barca are a terribly run club, they deserve the collapse they are enduring.

    We were the club that showed them that most other fans hate them and like to see them suffer. They seem to have been under the impression that most non Sunderland or Middlesbrough fans liked them and wanted to see them do well. I assume this false impression was down to the media love in for them. Oh well, sob on the Tyne.

    Correct. Players go where they can get paid the most. All of this rubbish you hear about wanting to play CL football, etc. is just talk. They go where they get the best contract.

    Based on the fact the manager said its possible that raschica is there on the first day of the season in September? 1. The transfer window closes in October 2.The manager isnt going to come out and say anything other than its possible he is staying.

    It doesn't really matter he isn't going to be sold unless we take a huge loss on the deal. We paid ~£8m for him in January and gave him a contract premier league wages so that means he isn't going anywhere. He'll be a decent squad player next season and doesn't seem like the type of player who will cause problems.

    There won't be. The history books will just show the winners, just like it will show liverpool won the league in '19/'20. FWIW I think bayern are the best team in europe and I think they'll win the CL. The lack of second legs doesn't change that.

    Happens all the time. It's not illegal for agents to talk people who represent football clubs. How do you think players personal terms usually get sorted out so quick once a fee is agreed?
