  1. Found this with my football team, early post covid it was turning into 8 pints after a match, like we were making up for something. Beer rocks me for a few days diet wise. Only way for me is to go teetotal for 4-6 weeks. Lemonade after training last night and Ive got that stubborn feeling that comes with doing it. Sunny this weekend though......
  2. Can we take another year or two of the damage Boris is causing to politics? Would that be worth it to see the Tory party left in shambles for a considerably long time?
  3. He wont be resigning. I expect a rule change for votes required to get legislature through.
  4. Wow Nadine Dorries is absolute car crash TV. I have no idea if she believes what she says or any idea what it means.
  5. Or a clever ploy, no confidence now and win. Look how much confidence they have in me so he wins the by election.
  6. I dont see how Stop The War is pedling Russian propaganda? But that is my point, certain groups want you to think that they are. I dont doubt that it full of absolute crap. But being anti something doesnt make you pro the otherside. If anything the self imposed damage (brexit) peddled by the Tory government is exactly what Putin wanted us to do. Just for the record I dont think Corbyn is a saint, I do think he came close to giving the Tories a bloody nose and the tactics used to win that election (massively so) have become policy: lying, misinformation, brushing off issue and deflection. The use of social media and news has been successful to far greater degree for the Tories, that is propaganda.
  7. I 100% agree Corbyn would have been against the war and would have at best delayed sending any aid to Ukraine weapons wise. The Russian propganda pedling however is just exactly what the Tory propaganda machine has set.
  8. I think the "sensible" arguments for gun control are easily debunked. There really is no other reason for having a gun than they like and want them. In this country if you want one you can have one. Just on the arguments above: If self defense against bears, cougars ect is your reason im sure under UK rules farmers ect could have one on similar grounds. Its justifiable and mangeable. The argument that it is hard to do so dont do it is a standard failing in business, as is this is how weve always done it. I assume it fails in Chicago as their is general production still happening for the states/cities that dont have strict laws. It needs to be a nation solution not a city one, that has proved to work all around the world. 27 school shootings (not sure if mass) this year in the US, 147 days in that is one every 5.4 days. There have been 214 mass shootings in the US so 1.4 a day. It is not a rare event. I know they werent your arguments. I do think the loud gun lover is a vocal minority all be it a passionate one with a gun, not sure what they would do if people came to take their guns off them. Civil war was said by Hannety et al. **** the consitution.
  9. Yeah £3k on a guitar sounds a bargain
  10. I can understand why it doesn’t get done early, if I was a pro the day after the season finishes i would off into the sun for 2 months. Getting these done earlier means we’ve been negotiating for a long time I imagine, giving the players time to delay their holidays so we can seal the deal.
  11. So where does Lange step in during our signings? Is he managing the scouting? My general expectation was he would be picking out players early before they go on to become Champions League standard. Maybe that was too Football Manager. Is he part of our silent but efficent approach aswell? Bailey and Kamara probably fit into what I expected from him, young, shown quality, top teams dont quite trust them yet. But they were both well known.
  12. Thought he could have been better for all of the goals
  13. He did make the chances he missed out of shear hard work. Its just so frustrating that he doesnt have the technique/mental ability to finish them. Should easily have had an extra 7-10 goals since the turn of the year.
  14. Loved his energy and aggression tonight. He’s absolutely fuming when not given the ball and a bad decision is taken by a team mate. Him, Mcginn and Pope the best players in the pitch
  15. Delighted to see Chuk and Buendia again. Hope we see Feeney.
  16. People taking bollocks were told they were talking bollocks. Portrayed as project fear. Boris is a sharlatan who benefited portraying brexit as some golden goose of being best for Britain terrible for foreigners. Much of the same people who fell for it then fall for it now. We will get another Tory government based on them being able to get the best deal, and only them.
  17. Agreed, the notion of leaving and staying in the market didn’t exist. It was the “having our cake and eating it scenario” In in fact being a member and having a say in the rules while still being in the singles market is the delicious cake. It’s nuts that people still cling to backing their vote and knowing what they voted for. Or even worse voting for something that wasn’t on the table.
  18. I think he was our best player in the first half. A nice pedestrian pace from both teams allowed him to have the ball. Couldn’t disagree more about their performances when Emi and Phil were on the pitch being the same level. Buendia was by far the standout but I agree that Coutinho gave him the ball and linked with him well.
  19. Was fantastic when he came on. What does he have to do to get his place back. This time Coutinho was on the pitch. It was clear who was the better player, working harder, impacting the game.
