  1. Bitten the bullet, sold my old Xbox plus 6 games which I had finished for £130. Bought a used Playstation 4 Slim for £190. The Last of Us Remastered is going to be my first game, currently downloading as free with PS Plus this month. My list then will be: Spiderman Days Gone Unchartered 4 God of War Horizon Zero Dawn Should keep me going for quite a while! Thanks to those who sent lists of PS4 Exclusives
  2. The Villa View did a piece on this a while back.

Does anyone listen to The Guardian Football Weekly? A couple of weeks ago Paulo Bandini became Nikki Bandini and I still can't get my head around the new voice.
  4. Nah I don't spend any money on FUT, it ruins the enjoyment for me. I've been completing the weekly SBC's. The marquee matchups give you quite a few packs, I packed Ronaldo in one of those.
  5. Packed Ronaldo this morning! Sold him for 1.4 million. Best card I've ever had from a pack, unreal. First buy was obviously TOTW Jack Grealish to go with Wesley and McGinn. KDB for 310,00 straight after. Great Friday!
  6. After 4 years of playing sporadically last night I finally completed The Witcher! Superb game, now to put it down for a while before going back to clear up the side missions. Choices available to me now are Overwatch or Shadow of War. Next month I'm going to pick up a PS4 and start with The Last of Us
  7. Chances are Rodri will now miss this game after going off injured last night. Pep has estimated 10 days at the minimum, there's no way he will risk him. This means Stones will most likely come in at centre back, although he's not fully fit and prone to a clanger. Normally Pep drops Sterling, KDB or Aguero after a Champions League game; I have a feeling Sterling or KDB will be benched with Sterling off the back of internationals and KDB just back from injury. The problem is they have strength in depth, so Bernardo, Silva or Mahrez will be in. It's going to a massive test, but I have faith in the lads and DS.
  8. Watched 'Any Given Sunday' yesterday Thought it was pretty poor if I'm being honest. Normally love a sports film.
  9. Running out of superlatives for Jack Grealish, he was absolutely magnificent on Saturday. He's the one player in our team who can receive the ball and you just know he isn't going to lose it. He drove the team on in the second half, picking up balls from deep, the center, on the left and on the right. The ability to move him around or let him float around the pitch is really a benefit to us now, it creates panic for the opposition as he goes up against a different opposition each time he receives the ball. You can almost sense the fear of the opposition players when he moves towards them, drawing fouls as he goes. It's now almost a certainty that he will replace Maddison in the next England squad, and then just as has happened with Mings the nation will fall in love with Grealish as we have done. Really looking forward to people who have ridiculed him for his shin pads, his hair, his 'diving, to finally appreciate his talents as a footballer. He's special, and he's ours.
  10. Agbonlahor is our all time leading Premier League goalscorer, to say he never developed and is a terrible player is pretty disrespectful in my opinion. Granted the way his career ended at Villa was nothing short of a disgrace, but from 2006 to 2010/11 he was unplayable and a huge part of the MON era.
  11. Unfortunately every football club has a bunch of idiots, and unfortunately ours have come to forefront in the last few weeks. Glad the club are weeding them out for us.
  12. Kingsman: The Golden Circle last night. Not my cup of tea, didn't find it that funny and was just stupid in parts. Will be giving the 3rd film a swerve.
  13. I watched Shot Caller last night, brilliant film and would highly recommend. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister from GOT) is brilliant as the lead.
  14. If they held a new referendum tomorrow, leave or remain, what do you think the split would be? Not that it's going to happen, but I would imagine it would be heavily in the remainers favour after the absolute mess parliament have made of Brexit.
  15. Watched Joker last night, what an absolute masterpiece. Probably going to go back and watch it for a second time this weekend. I've never been a fan of Phoenix but he was exceptional.
  16. On the subject of directions, I'm 30 and have never used road maps, sat nav's have always been a thing for me. What annoys me is when you mention to someone that your going somewhere, an airport or an away game. 'Ah are you taking the A46 or the A41?' 'Ooo the A46 is normally busy at that time of day, I would take the A34 and link on to the M4 just off Swindon' 'I took the A34 last week and it was a nightmare' I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't know which road I'm taking, I just follow my satnav to where I'm going or I know the route I'm taking as I've driven there before. Note the roads I have added are probably not even related to each other, they are examples only
  17. Thanks! Will get on and sell my spare Xbox with some games and buy a PS4!
  18. Thanks Forgot about Spiderman and didn't even realise Uncharted 4 was out, loved the first 3!
  19. I've currently got an Xbox One X, but I'm tempted to buy a PS4 to play the exclusives before the next gen consoles come out. Would it be worthwhile, are they really that good? Current list is below, are there anymore to add? God of War Last of Us Days Gone Horizon Zero Dawn
  20. Could you post this in the Vegetarianism/Veganism thread please? Just reading this post made me feel quite faint and physically sick
  21. Probably the proudest I've ever been watching an England game featuring a Villa player last night. His post match interview was top class. Such a shame his debut was tainted in the way it was, but he's come through it with a huge amount of respect from England fans along with a top performance. Looking forward to watching him in the England shirt again next month.
  22. I would rather re-sign Whelan than sign Dier
  23. Realistically we now need to sign at least one player in every single transfer window. Even if by January we are looking good and playing well, quality players in every window will slowly strengthen us. For me January is where we need to invest in a winger/inside forward or a striker.
