  1. Glass half empty guy then eh. We’re playing Ajax. f****g brilliant. The reality is…..we’re back. Enjoy it, revel in it, celebrate it. That’s the reality of it..
  2. Play a small club and there’s not much to get excited about. Play Ajax at VP with the crowd rocking. Win it, and those memories stay with you for life. Can’t wait.
  3. Too many MPs in the Commons were playing politics and trying to embarrass other parties. Much ado about nothing. None of it will make a difference to the situation in Gaza. Grown adults behaving like toddlers. Not a good look.
  4. In the seventies polyester silk scarves were all the rage. They looked great for about a month.
  5. Meanwhile, the country says who gives a f***k, and wonder how they’re going to pay their gas bill.
  6. Recent polling, indicates that the electorate are turning away from tax cuts in favour of increased public spending. That gives me hope that this country is finding its soul again. It’s also hopefully, going to sound the death knell for the Party that.knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing. General Election can’t come soon enough.
  7. The turnout at the recent by elections has been in line with historic by election turnouts. There is absolutely no evidence that those that didn’t vote are shy Tories, non at all. Just as likely that given Labour were expected to win, that Labour voters also thought their vote wasn’t needed. The result, a huge swing to Labour, is most definitely a ringing endorsement.
  8. So a new stadium in Birmingham would in your opinion cost double what a fabulous state of the art stadium in North London cost. Unless you can back that up with actual costings, then I think your miles off mark.
  9. 2 Billion ? Nothing like that. Spurs new stadium cost 1 billion, and that’s with London prices. Everton’s new stadium would be a better comparison, and that cost £500 million.
  10. Need to keep this guy fit. He’s crucial for our run in.
  11. What they aided, was the NHS, in its battle to save lives. Moron indeed.
  12. We always bounce back from a defeat with a win. Well played lads.
  13. If the price of wafer thin offside decisions is the VAR circus we endure now, then **** it, I’ll take the refs on field decision every time, warts and all. It’s killing the game as a spectacle.
  14. Well I’m a member of the Labour Party, so obviously I disagree. For what it’s worth, the Labour Party for me is the only real hope for the next generation, I speak as a Grandad too. If I look at the individuals in both main parties, then it’s a laughably one sided contest. My wife was an active helper in the Erdington By election last year. She got to meet a lot of big hitters, including Starmer, Rainer etc. She found them all to be pretty impressive in their desire to do what’s right for the country. She was very impressed by shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves. I hope she’s right, she’ll have a massive task in front of her.
  15. That lot have too much baggage from the coalition era for me. They enabled austerity. and the shit storm that followed the Brexit referendum. Neither of which would have happened if they’d shown any integrity.
  16. Numbers aren’t as important as percentages. The Tories are ****. Who says onlyTories stayed home. The turnout was in line with most by elections. Wrap it up how you like. The Tories are toast.
  17. Many religions have at some stage in their history advocated Violence against non believers, be it a jihad or a crusade. Most have though, adapted their teachings to more reflect the modern world we live in now. Islam alone seems stuck in a medieval mindset. Time they had a rethink on some of their more rigid teachings.
  18. Honestly. The USA do nothing that isn’t in what they consider their own best interests. NATO protects their markets as much as anything else.
  19. Bottled it. They should spend the next week learning how to shoot FFS.
