  1. Balls was hoping he'd play Tuesday for them. Like you say hopefully not serious
  2. Just watched that. Some people have far too much time on their hands to think of that
  3. In the 90's. All the talk on football focus in the morning had been about Jan Agaa Fjortoff. Then I get to the game to see a masterclass as we silenced Swindon and Fjortoff and Deano got a hattrick as we won 5-0
  4. It's awful. I record it, following morning skip the villa watch the goals and then turn off, tried to watch the whole show once and just couldn't. Bring back linekars smugness anyday
  5. So my thoughts on the squad. Gollini has potential but maybe could have got a stronger back up keeper to push him or step in if needed. Defence - Improved a lot for me. Chester and Elphick look like they will be good at this level. De Leat haven't seen much of but remember him being poor at Norwich. However, that was a long time ago and may have improved. Read he is better going forward than back same as Amavi so maybe we'll play a back three at times which I wouldn't be against. Think we probably needed one more CB but can't be too picky. Midfield (Grealish Green and Adomah not in this area as will class as forwards). Still weakest area of squad for me. Tish looks to have potential but is still raw. Jedinak will add good leadership in the team which is needed, but I'm not convinced by how good a player he actually is. Westwood, Gards and Bacuna meh and Lyden hasn't been fancied yet. Needed more quality in there but think that'll come next window or summer. Forwards, very impressed with. Brought in players who have scored lots of goals in this league, added to the fact I think Ayew and Gestede will score plenty. Grealish has looked good this season and will provide a spark. Don't know much about Adomah but he is a different option to shake things up. Overall I think the squad is easily good enough to good up and think we will in second. In most games this season we have outplayed the opposition and should've been out of sight by half time. Once we get the strikers gelling we will put teams to the sword and once we are 2-0 up I can't see teams coming back at us (see Rotherham). It will be interesting to see how we react if we go behind though.
  6. Some fan in Talksport thought they were going to sign William Carvalho
  7. Ruge + Ingram, sounds shit for you both. Feel bad for you.
  8. Has the takeover completed, think Peace is still there. Maybe still going through for and proper test? I'm not certain on this though.
  9. I've liked the look of Tish so far, think he has potential to be the best signing this window
  10. Whilst I understand the sentiment, I think the comparison with Ravel is harsh. By all accounts Ravel was involved in gangs and criminal activity. Jack just (stupidly) liked to go for a few drinks. Like you say it appears that he has cut that out now and wants to knuckle down, currently we're getting the rewards from this so long may it continue.
  11. For a team who have struggled for goals it's nice to see we have gone a brought a strike force that got over 40 goals last season. Think the back three will work well, giving Amavi more freedom to do what he does best and go forward. Tish and Jedi in the middle. I'd just be concerned about the back up CB for that formation as we all know Baker is made of glass and Elphick is picking up bookings for fun. Good options now for different formations.
  12. I don't know about the other moves, but by all accounts it seems Arsenal not Wilshire vetoed the Roma deal
  13. I liked it but for me there are better animations about. Big Hero 6 and The Good Dinosaur are definitely worth a watch
  14. Last time the name(s) Ribson Kanu were involved with Albion they got relegated (pinched off an Albion supporter)
  15. So Robbie Keane bows out of international football with a lovely goal. The guy has had some career.
  16. It's nice that for once we are the ones putting in clauses. We have a proper businessman for once.
  17. That video where he signed and said he couldn't see, is so good to see. Really wants to be here. Some rise after signing for Bristol for £2m last year
  18. So was it a straight swap for Adama or did one club make a payment, can't see on media links and might've missed something on here
  19. Any fee involved or just straight swap? Shame didn't work out here... As said before think he may be weak mentally and this exasperates his injuries
  20. Talksport saying palace wouldn't pay full wages and arsenal didn't want to deal with Roma hence Wilshire to Bournemouth
  21. If Luiz goes back to Chelsea, it for just shows how top clubs are avoiding ffp. Buying players off each other for large sums of money to keep the books balanced.
  22. Never seen him play before (as with most our signings) but only 15 assists seems a small amount for a winger. Hopefully he can feed Rudi more
  23. Never seen him play, but it's another option who was on good form last season. Have to say hats off to Tony he's not messing around.
  24. I think he's the weak link in the Spurs side. Decent going forward, but defensively I think he is weak. He ball watches and get exposed with any ball over the top.
