The company I will be moving to next month are out near Manchester Airport and they are fairly flexible, come into the office when the work demands it. I didn't want to blow my cool persona by saying you are near the airport, I will be there all the time.
I have this on CD by Rory McLeod, I think I do, I havent listened to it in a couple of decades, but I think it sounds the same. That said, this Ry Cooder version is excellent.
Its one of the greatest albums ever made. It wasn't big but it it had a very fervent following and hugely critically acclaimed. I love it almost as much as I love my daughter, I have said this before, but I wish I was listening to it for the first time as it is phenomenal. I will be putting it on as soon as my next meeting is over.
I am going to one in March at Skegness. I was going to stop till Monday but now heading back on the Sunday. That's more to do with my availability rather than the entertainment on the last night.
Bonnie Raitt. We had a fairly substantial discussion on Bonnie Raitt when she won a Grammy last year. A large number of people had never heard of her. I still think about that.
All of that, and also the potential to have a month of bench time/gardening leave. Currently on a small team and from friday one of my colleagues was going on the bench, if I get my notice in, they will keep him working and I will paint the kitchen.
Applied for a job in December, for a company whose system I tested for close to ten years. Had 2 interviews, one before Christmas and one last week. **** nailed it. So I will potentially be handing in my notice today.
Rather irritatingly my mum is dying. Massive heart attack, in an induced coma and on a ventilator. Arteries are **** so the are struggling to put a stent in. Pissing me off as she lives in bloody France.
I am sure he won't mind me saying this but @Rugeley Villais a man who was in a similar position and turned it round, it's not a cul de sac, merely a junction.
