Also just finished Wonka, really enjoyed and not to be contrary, really liked the songs. They were penned by Neil Hannon so that helped. Good film, different of course to the other 2 Wonka films.

It's an interesting one, never a Ride fan, my wife was and all apart from Twisterella in this house are owned by her, but this, well I wonder if the people who might buy the new album might be put off by it. If you compare it to Kisses by Slowdive, a band that know their audience, it's weak. Very weak.

Rocka-buy Records of Oakham Rutland. I have never bought anything from them, but they have a large social media presence so I see their videos, it tends to be favourite albums, tracks, guitarists etc. The guy who fronts it owns a well stocked record shop but his selections are always so bloody pedestrian, it's like his favourite album is the best of the Beatles. I think at times he is a divorced dad that is just discovering vinyl again.

Got Ashley McBryde at the Institute in Birmingham on Sunday, booked the next day off and stopping in a hotel. not sure how I will feel but my hope is she sticks to her upbeat songs.

I have been listening to them a lot recently, the early 90s was the last time I gave them considerable play and thought I would revisit this week. It hasn't disappointed.

There are 2 different points here. Biden is losing support according to the Suffolk University/USA Today poll, that's true, but not entirely to Trump, also keep in mind Cubans, particularly in Florida tend to favour "not Democrats". The overall poll, the SU/USA Today poll has Biden way ahead of Trump, but seemingly its Dem funded. Rep funded, has Trump ahead, Dem funded has Biden, non partisan has them even. So its best to take a wide view, but with a large amount of salt at this point.

The company I will be moving to next month are out near Manchester Airport and they are fairly flexible, come into the office when the work demands it. I didn't want to blow my cool persona by saying you are near the airport, I will be there all the time.

I have this on CD by Rory McLeod, I think I do, I havent listened to it in a couple of decades, but I think it sounds the same. That said, this Ry Cooder version is excellent.

Its one of the greatest albums ever made. It wasn't big but it it had a very fervent following and hugely critically acclaimed. I love it almost as much as I love my daughter, I have said this before, but I wish I was listening to it for the first time as it is phenomenal. I will be putting it on as soon as my next meeting is over.

I am going to one in March at Skegness. I was going to stop till Monday but now heading back on the Sunday. That's more to do with my availability rather than the entertainment on the last night.
