  1. 61 with maddison, udogie, and porro to play. made a big error in hindsight going 5 at the back and leaving neto and bowen on the bench. cash seems to play more defensive at home and i'm still really annoyed matip was benched and then came on for a 1 pointer but still just so stupid of me to do that
  2. to think we've still got jj and moreno to come back soon. the sky's really the limit. to be honest i'm happy to sack off europa. we could do something really special this season in the league
  3. this is where the captaincy is annoying. horrible watching a player you own score points and being pissed off about it
  4. matip starts 6 in a row. rested all week, then gets benched. konate gets booked, and taken off for matip to get the probable 1 pointer. FPL is back.
  5. haaland all the way this week. brighton poor at the back, plus i like that captaincy is just something i don't need to think about. just keep it on haaland and worry about the rest of the team i'm on 5 at the back as things stand so could be an interesting week...
  6. avoiding all turf. a few i like on the all weather tomorrow: 21 Oct 2023 16:12:00 WOLVERHAMPTON (A.W) Alyara 21 Oct 2023 20:00:00 WOLVERHAMPTON (A.W) Miss Lightfandango 21 Oct 2023 20:30:00 WOLVERHAMPTON (A.W) Glory Sky
  7. when it comes to a GE they'll come to an agreement not to run against each other (think farage did that for the last GE). i'm not sure lib dem and labour would ever come to such an agreement
  8. now THAT i'd pay to see...would be comedy gold. i'd be heading straight to hell but it would be worth it
  9. woke up thinking it was saturday...it's not even friday or thursday, it's **** wednesday. not a good start to the day!
  10. i didn't see the game so cannot comment on the play acting but playing devil's advocate, we loved that bit of arrogance when jack played for us. if it makes him part of the player he is, then he should crack on. he's absolute class
  11. yeah i'm pretty much the same. when i worked from home during covid i realised i went days without speaking to anyone from my team...i actually ended up scheduling a 15 min catch up just to chat...weather, football, anything. now when my team are in the office we talk a LOT more. share funny football stuff from twitter, moan about VAR etc. it's so much more interactive and productive at work to the point that i find myself saying to a colleague "we'll go through this properly tomorrow when you're in the office"
  12. cheers - yeah the doc said it was likely going to be keyhole. glad to hear it's not too bad!
  13. hernia operations...anyone had one and how long was the recovery time? looks like i need one never had any form of operation before so i'm shitting it...even though it's about as routine as they come
  14. Dump tackle, beyond horizontal, definite red
  15. more proof at how this draw has been a total balls up. imagine if this and last night's games were the semi finals
  16. they won't look on the results alone. it definitely gets him the 6 nations, but another disappointing display and he'll be in trouble
  17. i miss the days when we were good at rugby god we used to play some lovely stuff
  18. our discipline has been **** shocking for ages and tom curry has form too compared to the ireland vs NZ game yesterday it's actually embarassing. at least when we play a decent team they'll just kick a shitload of pens against us so the scoreline won't be as embarassing
  19. every one of them was saying how shit it was. can't speak for others, but it was the first and last of these such events i watch
  20. they were as shit as each other problem is a draw pretty much guarantees a rematch and don't think anyone wanted that
