  1. he should absolutely face action as a result but the pitch invasion doesn't happen, this incident doesn't take place also guarantee there's more to this story, he wouldn't have done that unprovoked
  2. jeez man i was being facetious there's plenty of articles out there as to why this is a big deal. i suggest you look them up
  3. well lets go through the options of teams to root for in the playoffs: huddersfield/sheff utd - can group together into the same reason...both recently been in the PL and were both pretty shit. unlikely to stick around long luton - would be somewhat of a fairytale and would be mad to see a ground that small in the PL but lets face it none of us are getting tickets for our game there and realistically they'd be battered and forgotten about fairly quickly forest - big fanbase which we've not had any needle with (correct me if i'm wrong) and a team that you'd think would make a proper go of it in the PL. i think the reason (aside from their history) is simply that we'd rather see teams like forest in the PL than teams like bournemouth, fulham, norwich and burnley. i don't think it's a love in per se
  4. i struggle the same. walk to and from work every day (c.1.5m each way) and calories at around the 1700/1800 mark but all it takes is a day on the beer and i'll get a maintain rather than a loss now the season is over i can knuckle down losing weight is **** difficult
  5. i always think back to the carabao cup semi v leicester watching these gurning lads hanging off nyland's neck. last night their fans bundled their keeper, smoke flares everywhere that these athletes are having to inhale. imagine if they'd ruled him out of the final? a player is going to get injured one day anyway, pitch invasions for a semi final are small time. you aint won anything yet.
  6. i hate pitch invasions for so many reasons, this being one of them. don't know how, but i'd love to see them stopped
  7. the difference in class to last night is vast. i maintain the winner of this tie comes up
  8. was being facetious in response to a few that indicated he should keep it to himself...
  9. maybe they should just keep their race to themselves, rather than feeling the need to tell the world that they're black
  10. how is this the first time i'm hearing this? honestly never knew this
  11. i can't speak for you, but i can quite happily keep my private life off social media etc. if i was gay, i wouldn't need to tell anyone. but this guy works in a male dominated industry where even a league 2 player would be in the public eye. any idea how hard it must be for him to keep coming up with excuses as to why he's not shagging the various girls that find their way into the VIP areas of blackpool bars and nightclubs along with his team mates? when the centre forward shows him a photo at training saying "i had her at the weekend...nice eh?" and him having to feign interest he can now be himself. if he starts seeing someone, he can now be honest. OK he's not an elite player but one would assume that if he becomes a regular at blackpool, he'll be spotted in town. he can now go on dates, have relationships, get married without having to keep it secret. if a fan wants a selfie in town and he's there with his partner, he no longer would need to refer to him as his 'mate' so yes, he does need to come out publicly. and it's a big deal because players are absolutely scared to come out. this lad could pave the way for others.
  12. he wont. he should, but he wont. poor guy, really has had a shit time here hasn't he. my concern is that we've treated him poorly...we're after his former marseille team mate, kamara. you'd think the two of them are going to speak about what it's like here. what's sanson going to be saying? hardly going to have rave reviews about what management etc is like.
  13. head says everton because there's no way they'll be this bad next season, and every everton fan i've ever met has been a complete word removed heart says leeds cause it would be funnier and i'm sick of sky telling me how they should be my 2nd team and how wonderful they are to watch. voted leeds because deep down i think it's between them and burnley. everton are probably safe at least now we can't get top half i really don't care about the result thursday so will allow myself a cheeky smirk if we drop points as it puts leeds right in it
  14. now that we can't finish top half i don't really care so yeah why not
  15. cornet has a 17.5m relegation release clause apparently. i'd be keen but sure he'll have plenty of interested parties

    Scotland trip

as mentioned above you definitely want to take a look around loch lomond. some nice little towns scattered around it too like luss if you have instagram, check out the tour guide that i had once - whiskytourguidekeith. he's got loads of photos of places he's taken people on tours, plus distilleries etc that might give you some inspiration
  17. my money is still on burnley to go down but i just hope it goes the distance. the league title will be done and dusted by the last day so be good to have some drama
  18. is it a coincidence that they are the ones in the social media comments/replies saying we've wasted the money
