    Ok, it's not purely based on talent, that much is obvious with the inclusion of Steve Stone. However, why would they even bother to add current players in their early twenties? And, no, Bale is not better than Giggs.

    That says everything Troony. It's ok we all make mistakes. Don't get me wrong, fair play to Neville, he played consistently in a team regularly winning competitions for donkeys......but to disregard Richards as a footballer and not to be in awe of his athletic ability is IMO a bit naive. Surely these selections should be about ability rather than who won what the most. Gary Neville a better footballer than Michah Richards? Do me a favour love.(Richard Keys)

    Ireland hasn't done much wrong in the games he's played, quite the opposite and the same could be said about Given. Gabby shouldn't be considered imo. Given gets the nod from me, he's been pretty busy and kept us in games a few times.

    taht was day we signed Emile Heskey :'( Oh, absolutely this for me. We needed/wanted Darren Bent but we got Emile Heskey instead. I'm not one for bringing up MON debates or dwelling in the past(usually)but this one has always irked me.

    I just don't think he'll be sacked this summer. I can't see us being relegated now and that along with the points el-reacho made I think he'll get another season to turn it around.

    He's so low on confidence right now, being given the captaincy seems to have had the opposite effect from what it should have. He's become more of a luxury player than Ireland these days, imo.

    The score is NOT irrelevant, we should be looking to win every game for Stan to avoid relegation, he's still our captain and those who think he won't be interested in football at the moment are very much mistaken imo!
