Almost anything is possible. It's possible that our entire squad could all break their legs in training (and to be fair it's more likely than Benteke leaving this summer) but who here is worried about that happening? I never said you were negative. Of course anything can happen, but it is highly improbable that Benteke will leave this window and therefore not worth worrying about. I'm sure some people may have nagging doubt's (I'm not one of them) as is their right. I'm just stating that nothing surprises me in football. Nothing. What if Lambert brought Heskey back? This thread is lacking some basic common sense so let me bring some to the table. Benteke just signed a new contract; logically ending all possibility of a summer move. This thread was euphoric for a few days and rightly so, I even brought Benteke back into my FIFA 13 seasons team.

Part of me wants Bale to go just because Spurs will obviously miss him but the part of me doesn't want to see Spurs get £60 quid. I just don't like the team; that should be us challenging for 4th spot. Best case scenario for me is Spurs to reject all offers and keep him which weighs heavily on his mind and he has a mediocre season(he's too good to flop completely)

If he's as good as the people who have worked close with him say he is I believe he'll make it. Apparently he's an exceptional talent. I'm not denying he's a talent, just not as good as Wilshere who in my opinion is England's best player, at least not yet anyway Wilshere has done nothing at all. Agree with Richard, can't really argue with Benteke, Westwood, Vlaar and Guzan. A decent team could be built around them imo.
