A lot built up about this bloke but what was your opinion on his 45 mins today? Sums up his Villa career for me but willing to be corrected....

Post to my mate from Deepdale earlier to give him a first half summary, the 2 players refer to Rmc and Tish, the coward comment refers to the 6/7th tackle he's made in his whole villa career that are snidey/from behind, with intent to hurt just to cover his own inadequacies. Rant over but an epitome of our problems, time to hit the bar. 'Ashley Westwood is a **** coward. And RDM deserves to go just for the 2 players mentioned earlier that are on the bench!' this was after the fanny dallied on the ball for 10/15 seconds to finally kill the game off for Preston.

August 1985, sometime around my 8th birthday, held the mighty Liverpool (they did used to be good) to a 2-2 draw think Rush missed a penalty too, and may have been Tony Daleys debut, or if not he was 17 and very much an exciting prospect, I just remember never seeing anyone run so fast!

I think that the ideal balance in these early days is that we need to gain an ability to grind out results whilst in the 'gelling' period.

If it's possible in contract law ( I've no idea) I'd pay him off the remainder of his two years but on the basis he can't sign another contract with anyone else until the original contract expiry date, or he can take a much reduced pay off to become a free agent, his decision would be an indication of his true colours, and I know which one I could see him making. Offer nothing whatsoever to this club now, bar the potential to be a bad influence.

Agree with most of this it's common sense, we don't know what he does behind closed doors, wrong to write RDM off though in my opinion after oh what, 8 weeks and 2 games? Maybe Pantillimon for player manager ;-)
