  1. Could have been 2 in 2 for him if the one Saturday from Konsa hadn't crossed the line first. The more goals the better with him, very much a confidence player.
  2. I get the context of it but such a shame we couldn't go there and make an attempt at doing the double over them this season. Just crazy that Douglas Luiz was the only surviving player of the front 6 that beat man City at villa Park. No Martinez either. Pau too. What an odd and disappointing reverse fixture.
  3. Both teams resting loads of key players. Neither teams value this micky mouse league anymore.
  4. Chupa chups lollies are basically wrapped so that they can't be opened by children. Is that deliberate?
  5. About a month ago when we were struggling I was concerned that atleast one of the teams in positions 6th to 10th would put a run together and challenge us, but they're all out of form. Us and Liverpool are the only teams in the top 10 to have won our last game.
  6. Absolutely. Young children aren't supporting Man United out of choice anymore. It'll be because their parents support them. It's majority Man City for the glory hunting kids near us, with a bit of Liverpool and slightly less Arsenal.
  7. What are Fulham doing? Never seen a team make three changes after half an hour. 3 nil down now.
  8. It's mad its April and they've only won one more game than us.
  9. I obviously completely get that people need to leave early if they have something on. Like they start a night shift at 9pm, or childcare, or a family event. But it's not that it's the ones leaving selectively, which will be the majority of those who leave early.
  10. Bizarre people leaving on 80 mins, plenty did around me on Saturday. Particularly now given the matches go on to 100 mins. Basically saying I'm not going to watch the last 20 mins because I want to go to the pub or catch a train.
  11. You seem to know an awful lot about future football results. Neither Arsenal nor Man City won today.
  12. I'm really struggling to find any reports about the top 4 battle anywhere in the media this morning. A bad set of results yesterday for the media.
  13. Completely. But even with the decisions going for them they're still pretty rubbish. A zero goal difference for the season tells you all you need to know. If we had been on our game when we played them they would actually be 9th or 10th which is roughly where they should be.
  14. Were they saying that his goal yesterday was the third most powerful in premier league history, or third most powerful of the season?
  15. I was thinking exactly that about Brentford. The next three league games, if wins, might be what gets us over the line.
  16. I'm guilty of taking him for granted at times. His presence is increasingly so important.
  17. Weird that he is in full training and not on the bench.
  18. Our next three home games are against 15th, 13th and 11th. We're generally pretty good against those sort of sides at home.
  19. Was saying this earlier. How are we not in a battle for 2nd or 3rd if Man U are in a battle for 4th?
  20. It is 9 isn't it. There wouldn't be any point them finishing on the same points as us as they would finish below us. When is their game in hand?
  21. Every time I watch man United and Newcastle I can't believe that this season of all seasons we took zero points off them. Just think of that and then think we are currently five points of top.
  22. Five points off top with all of the top 3 still to play. What are you scared of?
  23. Referees can't win though can they, particularly with all the technology. Antonio goes eight months without scoring a goal and nobody says anything. While being paid 25 times the salary of the referee.
