  1. The problem is that he is allowed to do it, without repercussion.
  2. Harsh not to get the assist for Baileys goal. Him and the keeper touch the ball at the same time.
  3. Thing is though. Imagine our squad following a summer transfer window ahead of a champions league campaign. We would have 3 or 4 very high calibre additions to what we already have.
  4. So better for us for Liverpool to win I think.
  5. Why? You think all of Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Man U, Newcastle and Chelsea are going to be strong and consistent next season? How would that even work? One of the reasons why Man U and Chelsea are so weak is because we are now so strong. Even gifting Man U six points we are much better than them.
  6. We saw flashes of the last season him yesterday. Must be terrifying to play against when he is on it. Him and Watkins have a good relationship too.
  7. It's crazy how consistent all of Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool have become.
  8. Do we want Liverpool to win today? Do Chelsea get a European place with a victory?
  9. Why Mcginn? He wouldn't have much value increasingly due to age. I also don't think people quite realise how strong a position we have with Watkins, Bailey and Luiz, and their rediculous output this season. I see people say clubs might come in for them this summer. Those three are currently three of the best players in the Premier league, without exaggeration. They're all in the top 3 of their individual positions for sure. They're all relatively young and on long contracts with us. Also. They all appeared close to surplus to requirements about eighteen months ago too. This is the point about allowing allowing Emery and the team to go out and find the likes of Torres, Moreno, Tielemans etc. Bring them in and develop them into top players like they have with Bailey, Watkins, Luiz etc. We might need to take £90 mil for one of our top players, and it truly isn't the end of the world.
  10. There were three goals with zero VAR checks. Watkins was down for a minute or so. I didn't know they add minutes on for all the goals. I thought that was just part of the match.
  11. Where did the 5 minutes of injury time come from in the first half?
  12. Theres nowhere to sit down and eat after the game near the ground is there? Star City the closest walking distance?
  13. That's no different to the runs of games we had in November and December. And we won most of those games.
  14. I know right. He has 27 goal involvements this season and it's only Feb. I don't think people realise what level he has moved on to now. Impeccable injury record, on a long contract, hardworking team player too.
  15. How many more years does he have at his peak do we think, about 5? Recently turned 28.
  16. I was thinking that the other day. It would have to be this season that this happens wouldn't it.
  17. It's 6 points. If there's a 20 goal difference swing between now and the end of the season, it would be teams lower than Man U that we need to worry about.
  18. I seem to have missed all the individual news on this but how long roughly are Kamara, Konsa and Diego Carlos expected to be out?
  19. That is bonkers isn't it. Would have another 5 goals right now.
  20. Not really sure how that ended in a Liverpool free kick.
