  1. Oh no. This is only going back the last six games or so I think. Like of their collective last 18 or 19 games, they've won all except a draw and a loss. All three are in complete title winning form.
  2. He doesn't seem to be able to angle his foot to put a cross out for a throw in, the way it came. He basically just clears it the way he is facing, and so concedes a lot of corners. One they scores from today.
  3. It's nuts that the top 3 have took 53 of their last available 57 points. We're still only 3 points behind Arsenal right now.
  4. He probably also has another two years in him compared to a normal striker. He could be great for another five years.
  5. Four wins from five in the Premier league. Well and truly out of that blip, for now. We'd scored six goals in our last two before today. I'd predicted we would score 3 today. It always gives us a chance, scoring so many.
  6. What a buzzard second half. No shots or efforts of any note. Not the game to experiment with Rogers this one. He's way off premier league pace.
  7. We're basically just playing until the top clubs score now. They must have about 15 points gained in second half injury time this season.
  8. The only slight issue is the number of clubs in that bunch of 5 outside of the top 6. And therefore one could go on a crazy end of season run. But even still. We would only need to win 3 of our last 11 roughly to finish above them.
  9. Have we finished top 6 now? Is that like a 97-98% likelihood would you say? Win today and you'd think we are basically there.
  10. No I get all that. The other poster said we won't walk all over them. Like as if that isn't a possibility. We walked all over Man City a couple of months ago.
  11. Why? How do you know that we won't walk over them? The game at Villa Park was one of the most one sided games I've ever been to.
  12. That £14mil increase was probably my season ticket.
  13. He is clearly fit to play. They wouldn't have Dougie jumping on his back if he was still a week or so away.
  14. Midtable? We are generally about the 2nd to 4th best team in the Premier league over the last year or so scoring and conceding the goals we do. Why are you saying that I want midtable? My take is that we play the way we do, with the players we do, to score more goals than we concede. And this gets us up in and around the champions league qualification places. What your saying is that if we concede fewer goals we would be better still, which is fairly obvious. If we'd conceded 10 fewer goals this season we would be top of the league right now. Great.
  15. Surely one of them will be fit for Saturday
  16. Is there not more goals in general this season with the fact games last 5 to 10 mins longer? I'm sure I just heard that February was either the most ever goals in a Feb in the prem or the most in a single month in the prem. Also we score a ton of goals which is partly why we concede so many. Surely that's the point?
  17. Looks like PL haven't given it which is rediculous. They met the ball simultaneously so you've got to be looking not to give it to come up with that.
  18. Well yes of course, and then if we're not winning many games as well then they would go above us, deservedly. It's those two scenarios that need to play out for us to finish below them. We need to be worse than we are, for the rest of the season, and they need to be better than they are, for the rest of the season.
  19. Is that not pretty demoralising for them though? Seeing their direct rivals awarded points back. Theyve given so much effort this season. Luton need two or three really really good games to make up 4 points. And then they're just on par with how the table looked previously compared to Everton. In the Sheff U away pre match thread I said they are demoralised and others were saying they will be bang up for it. Hopefully it's another case of this.
  20. He hasn't been awarded it has he though. I thought it was an assist so was surprised to see his name not there on the BBC report.
  21. They just had no injury time in the second half of Luton v man city despite there being 3 goals.
  22. Have Luton got lots of defensive injuries?
  23. What bodes will for us is that we are still scoring close to two goals a game in the league, even across this poorer spell. Carry that through to the end of the season and you'll likely win more than not.
  24. I mean, again, it's 12 points really isn't it. If they make up 11 points on us they are still below us.
