    But it's not off sale, I just bought 5 tickets in it over the phone. It was blocked off online when I tried, that's why I called them. Might be doing what you said though.

    I wonder what the value of our squad is now? About £700 million? Given the contract lengths of our more highly valued players.

    Leicester absolutely smashed both Liverpool and Man City over the whole season. Its closer to unlikeky than impossible that we do it.

    The thing is. Man u and Chelsea are mid table clubs this season, after a quarter of the season. We have been a top 4 team, points wise this season, and most of last season. So which part of it would change for them to be a threat to us? We suddenly start playing like a mid table team, and they both start playing like a top 4 team? Because you need both of those things to happen for either of them to overtake us. We are 3 wins above them already and have scored twice as many goals.

    I keep seeing similarities between us and man City. And this really interested me. Villa and Man City have scored twice the amount of goals as Man United and Chelsea so far this season. Man United and Chelsea have had FIVE times the number of offsides as Villa and Man City so far this season. It feels like there should be a link here, between goals and offside, but presumably it's just about well managed teams, and players being disciplined and buying into instructions.

    It's typical isn't it. We should be second or third right now normally.

    I said that on Sunday. Liverpool, Brighton, west ham, man City etc score actually has some relevance to us now as it dictates where we are in the league. With the rubbish Internet, I didnt find out the other scores Sunday until I was well away from the ground. They read out the scores for years, not sure why they've stopped now.

    He doesn't have the pace like Cash or Moreno. He prefers to work angles to get through down the wing.

    We were also the first time that Brighton, West Ham, Chelsea etc have been completely outclassed.

    Going to be a tough one this. I think we'll get somewhere between 2 and 4 points.

    It's difficult to get up for games when you don't just know the outcome but likely the score too. We were pretty likely to score 3 or 4 and they were pretty likely to score 0 or 1. It's why the atmosphere is so bad at Man City.

    It's basically 11 points with goal difference. They can't score and we score loads.

    Why is it an own goal? Was Diabys touch not going in?

    It's a difficult one because he doesn't seem to get anything right at the moment which is part confidence and part bad luck. I suppose the only way that changes is by playing him. But then the circle continues as nothing he tries is coming off.

    I don't think I've ever been to a game knowing we will win before. It made me oddly impatient despite the fact we were winning. Fair play to the players, extends our winning home run into another month. Up to nine months now since a team took a point from Villa Park.

    It's bonkers how many people are pessimistic given what we see from villa at villa Park. Of course we could lose today but there's no basis to expect it. The majority of the posts in the west ham and Brighton pre match threads were how they were both likely to get something. And we beat them 10-2. And they were about 5th in the league when we played them both as an average.

    The bookies continue to offer relatively good value for Villa wins. Like you make twice as much money on villa beating Luton as you do on Arsenal beating Sheffield United. I really don't see the distinction between those two. We were also really good value away at Chelsea the last two times we played there. Which wasn't intrepid with current Villa or Chelsea in my opinion.

    We've scored 17 goals in our first 4 home games. That's only been bettered once in Premier league history, by Man City with 18 goals.

    I don't think I've ever been this confident of a win, its actually disconcerting. I can't even remember the last time we haven't beaten a team we should beat in the Premier league. You could maybe say Wolves but that was away. Its an odd feeling.

    A lot of the recent bets that I've placed suggest that we do finish above Arsenal and Liverpool. Haha.

    But we don't want to come second 8n the group. That's another two fixtures in the playoff against what's likely to be a tough side. We could have really done with drawing in Warsaw.

    25 goals in all competitions must be his target. He said 20 in the sky interview on Sunday bit I think in all comps he must be aiming for 25.

    So what's that, 4 changes. It feels like a bit of a dangerous game making these changes, but get the need to rotate. Come on you Villa boys.

    Wow, I didn't know that last bit. So we would have to play 2 extra games if we finished second?
