100% changed around the time Gregg Evans and Ashley Preece moved on from covering Villa. Now started putting exclamations on the end of things and acting much more like a fan account than v neutral/fact based.

I thought that too. They didn’t wish him luck or anything. The sort of factual statement that players who have forced moves get. Maybe we’re overthinking it but it was noticeably cold.

Surprised at that actually because they’re setting a precedent that will be difficult to come back from. Although it was harsh, I didn’t think it was totally outrageous. I’ve seen worse upheld.

Does this mean his registration hasn’t come through yet? Are they waiting to hear if he’s eligible? Article focuses on his fitness but Emery talks about his registration. Considering we’ve got a load injured, I’m slightly concerned at the numbers of outgoings rumoured.

I was ok about him leaving when I thought we were getting acuna but reports coming out of Spain that it’s collapsed. In that case, we surely keep Digne, Moreno isn’t back for a while yet.

Not ideal, but he seems to want out and we want Acuna. If we can make it work financially (loan fee, wages) then it frees a place in the squad and keeps him in the spotlight for a future sale. Disappointing, finally thought we had one Saudi bound but this might work.
