Hasn’t Dougie given an interview recently in which he talks about how glad he was that the move to Arsenal didn’t go through because it he went on to have the best season of his career and it has been the right thing for him to stay put. He didn’t say that he wouldn’t want a big money move in the future but he recognised the value in not moving at the first opportunity.

I don’t think we’ll pursue Johnson if we get Diaby, I’d be amazed if we had that much money to spend, we still need another RB don’t we? If we got Johnson and Diaby, I’d be delighted though, I really like Johnson but I know v little of Diaby. Johnson seems to be quite versatile and could cover any of the front 3 positions. Diaby on the right wing. We are so light in forward options at the moment. I’m talking myself into it, we definitely need to sign both.

Got injured on international duty apparently.

If we sign Diaby and Johnson aswell as Pau, are we really going to have enough funds for a RB and back up goalie (although lack of links makes me think we’re sticking with Olsen)?

I’m not sure we can be too critical, it’s been absolute radio silence from the club. Criticise the media if they don’t report it when we actually announce it (which I’m starting to think will be about a day before the season starts).
