  1. What does this mean exactly? Has Gemma Davies been replaced? If so, then how is she still leading the coaching team??
  2. I've always been in two minds about him. On one hand he did nearly get us promoted, and at the time I thought that was great, regardless of the shameful display in the final. On the other, he started the next season with one recognised CB, allowing Elphick to go out on loan despite him being the only other one in the squad. I still don't fully understand how that came to happen. Regarding the play off final, I wonder if he realised at the last possible moment what a charlatan Xia was and what would become of us of we got promoted under him. What if he secretly brokered the deal for NSWE to buy the club behind the scenes, shit the bed in the final to force Xia into selling, then started the season abysmally to give them an excuse to move him on and get Smith in to replace him knowing he would be a far superior manager? What if he also pretended to try and sell Grealish so that when NSWE rode in and stopped the sale they'd look like heroes and endear them to us from day one? We shouldn't be deriding him. If anything, we should knock down the McGregor statue outside VP and replace it with one of Brucie, a true club legend.
  3. Do you think he forgot he was managing Newcastle and thought he was still with us?

Just say a random Portuguese word, you'll probably name one by accident.

What do they mean "back to them"? They never had it in the first place. Wolves fans used to be a reasonable bunch. It's actually a bit sad how low they've stooped in recent years.
  6. Smith said he felt a tight hamstring in training. He was right to sub him considering the game was won anyway.
  7. His first touch is magnificent at times. He's getting better with time, and it's brilliant to see.
  8. A proper statement signing. She's really upped the quality of the team already.
  9. Yes, but to be fair someone tricked him into doing that and I doubt he had any idea who he was.
  10. Remember when he posted a Chairman Mao quote on Twitter and nobody thought that was a gigantic red flag? Good times, good times.
  11. Fair play to him. That attitude has got him very far in life.
  12. Does it though? Our away form has been much better than our home form this season. If anything it seems like having no fans at VP is hindering us.
  13. Nobody's perfect. But it's a testament to how good he is that we actually talk about little things like this.
  14. I'm not sure he would have. Premier League clubs can be seen as proper golden geese by some people. It's where all the real money is.
  15. At the time, "Lerner Out" was all that mattered. Whoever came in was pretty much irrelevant.
  16. Isn't this essentially what's going on over at SHA? We were so lucky whatever he was up to didn't pan out. How different things could've turned out, eh?
  17. Do you mean the same time Joelinton's contract expires, or the same time Joelinton himself "expires"?
  18. There's something to be said for having someone around who can light a fire up their arses though, in case they ever start to think they're nailed on starters. We need to be at a point where nobody is ever guaranteed to start, ideally not even Jack.
  19. That's a very liberal use of the word "funny".
  20. I've always thought the same. I like the way they just carry on playing until the ball goes out of play after the 80 minutes are up. That's the right way to do it.
  21. I've been watching for the last 20 minutes or so. Is Brewster even playing?
  22. I'm not having that. Conor is worth far more than that. He's not exactly ripping up trees, but he's plenty good enough for a championship team seeking promotion. £5m, absolute minimum. I'd even scoff at that, honestly.
  23. Increasing the overall quality of the squad is a good thing, even if it doesn't necessarily upgrade the first team itself straight away. If he does come, it will be interesting to see how much we pay. The circa £20m that I've seen suggests he'd be pushing for a starting place straight away, but any less than that and it could simply be a way to fill a gap that's about to open. We'll see. For what it's worth, he seems like the type of player we should be looking at.
  24. The disparity between the sides at the top of the table and those at the bottom is striking. I've said it before, but that's down to us for totally neglecting the women's game for so long. With NSWE about these days, it's probably just a matter of time before they're competitive. Patience will be required, though.

The Tanzanian hate boner seems to have died down considerably since Samatta moved to Turkey and has had about the same level of success there as he did here. There are still a few of them I've seen having around, and they're generally grateful to Villa for giving one of their own a chance in the PL, something that was totally unthinkable to them.
