  1. My mate is a noted farter at home, at work and in the pub noted for both volume in sound and the horrendous stink he can proudly produce. His wife still loves him though! Although he pushes his luck at times. He largely blames me if he gets home late and/or particularly pissed! His reason being, in his own words, “she can see no fault in you” and so instead of convincing her otherwise he uses my status as resident angel, to his advantage! My wife holds him in similar esteem but he’s careful never to inflict his rancid farts on her, which for the same self preservation reasons I encourage too! That and we’re often all in the same car together!
  2. And by the way John, the correct term is Our Title now! Not Their title anymore.
  3. Fortunately we’re in a much netter place now with a much better manager than the deluded charlatan MON.
  4. Reminds me of Savage tellingly z Graham Souness thst he was a better player than he, Souness would ever be, or ever was, Souness answered , “fair enough Robbiei I’ll see you after the game, to discuss it further, you bring your medals and I’ll bring mine!” It seems like they’ve never had any sense and it’s likely that they never will!! UTV!!!
  5. Win this to cement our place in the top 4 then win the FA Cup and the Europa Conference for a truly amazing season! We can sweep the board next season! UTV!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Leave the cheese alone before bed from now on is my advice!
  7. Loads of stick every time he picks the ball out of the net!
  8. Hopefully we’ll give Arsenal the tanking that City should have got! The Unai and Emi factors can and possibly will be significant, all being well!
  9. We’re in the title race, I’ll just let that sink in for a minute or two, would you bet against us? The doubts in the Arsenal dressing room will come flooding back after last season, let’s put them under the cosh right from the off. UTV!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Wonderful Villan, wonderful Brummy, wonderful man amd now a Holte Ender in the Sky to give a cultured voice to all the other HEITS RIP Benjamin, you are truly one of our own, one of the only proper Brummies on Peaky Blinders too! Bless you Benjamin Zephaniah. UTV!!!!!!!
  11. I had a Djemba Djembe moment sorry I did do some other things during the month though, don’t ask me to remember what they were!
  12. the world is full of uneducated and uneducatable idiots everywhere it’s a common theme everywhere I look! Never mind there’s an old saying, “Never argue with an idiot, incase you get mistaken for one!”
  13. Yes very sad. Proper Villan and Brummie, I was fortunate to meet him briefly in the pub near Wembley before the FA Cup Final in 2015. A nice bloke on his way to see our team but it was getting close to kick off so he and I couldn’t chat long, a missed opportunity, which will sadly now not be ever repeated. UTV!! I hope he caught the game last night and went through the gates happy. HEITS. RIP Benjamin
  14. Biggest and clinically effective to be fair!! The lad is a genius in most aspects of his play. Keep it up Emi!!
  15. Twisted and completely incomplete quote taken totally out of context, we shouldn’t encourage them by even mentioning it. Morons!!
  16. Wembley and the Europa Conference final (I think in Athens) this year. All with the Villa though! UTV!!!
  17. I was there too, typical Arsenal, I couldn’t hear them!
  18. What a wonderful player, manager and man. I’ve told a story on here before how my Dad met Brian and Ron Saunders at BMH, I don’t bore you all again but both men were absolute gentlemen and both a credit to our incredible football club. Brian was my favourite player growing up and also gave me some wonderful moments when he came back to manage us. I can add that a couple of Christmases ago my wife bought me a signed copy of his book, “My Aston Villa” but the first copy arrived unsigned, so she emailed the publisher and Brian personally replied and apologised then sent a signed copy. He also follows her company now. Sums the gentleman up completely. What a gent, what a Villan. He still watches us and I’d like to think we and him can be very happy in the near future. We’re blessed to have a man like him at the club in any capacity! UTV and long live Sir Brian Little. Player, club shop assistant, first team manager, fan, truely one of our own in every way. Thank you Brian! . I’m sure he can still walk on water too! Would you want to bet against him?
  19. The good thing is that Tyrone no longer has to look the manager in the eye and can concentrate on his game, which is now, under a proper manager, solid. In fact I’d say developing very well and perhaps could be described as the best if his career, especially as he’s now doing it at the top end of the PL and in Europe. Which highlights his strength and the remarkable job Unai is doing. I think it was you TRO in an earlier post that said he, Unai, has lots of things to consider in the bigger picture and not just the game we’re playing or about to play, it is in this context that we have to judge the manager and the players. A bigger and better squad will always help of course. Thoughts that our current squad is good enough to win the league are at best fanciful. The bigger squads always finish the season strongly just at the time when squads of lesser quality fall back. Last season whilst not unusual was a good example of this. Hopefully we do good work in the January market and we don’t suffer the consequences of not doing so. The good news is that we are in very good hands now through the club. UTV!!!!
  20. I would say the thing we miss most from Tyrone is his leadership and strength of character as well as his physicality. In fact I’d say we could do with a similar player in the middle of the pitch. They are few and far between though, particularly if they are high quality technical footballers as well. Step forward Monchi please!
