    The fact is, the less successful a club is the more they’re liked by opposition fans and visa versa. We can all give lots of reasons why we don’t like “the top 4” and many reasons are perfectly valid but ultimately we don’t like them because of their success, particularly against us, I’m looking forward to an era of hating less and being hated more!

    And not enough income on the other side of the equation, hopefully that can change now. Heck actually said that Unai and Monchi are making his job easier. The development of home grown players continues to be very important.

    On reflection I’d be inclined to agree dead probably but certainly dying. The WWW was developed/invented as a means for intellectuals, like me and @Follyfoot to exchange ideas. Now we have the Kardashians and Facebook the slippery slope is getting steeper and more lubricated by the day!

    Stick a red shirt on in his opinion I suppose. Sky blue would probably get you a sideways glance too. But shove it up ‘em all should be our attitude and used to spur us on for the rest of the season and longer. Fergie used this motivational tool for years even after they were winning stuff all over the place. Us against the world works just fine! Let them keep scoffing and dismissing us all they like. UTV!!!!! Emi will enjoy showing the world every trophy he lifts and anyway he wants!!

    The last CEO had no qualms about making poor decisions and happily made them anyway. His pals from his former club meant more to him than anything else. Loyalty in operation in modern football! He also didn’t fanny about getting to know the club as he didn’t regard such stuff as having any relevance to him.

    It seems like Marshall has come to the fore now so that could be the solution, hopefully. But a long term injury at either end of the pitch would likely cause us big problems. So fingers and everything else crossed thst we don’t get any, anywhere on the pitch for thst matter. Then again our goalie had to go off early on in a big game once, so anything could happen!

    I agree and given that Unai often talks about respecting competitions and opponents I can’t see him throwing the towel in for any match or competition
