    Fairly even first half with Spurs having more of the ball.but Villa a few more chances. Could be a game where Diaby makes the difference second half.

    No Ramsey in the squad is frustrating but obviously not worth risking him if he is not ready. Otherwise pretty much as expected I think with some good threats available off the bench if needed. UTV!

    Feels like we might be playing them at an unfortunate given they are pretty much back to full strength. However, if we play to the level we know we can at home then we should have enough to win. Not confident for this one but always hopeful. 4-0 UTV!

    Must have been a nice surprise! I was in the Reading end with a Reading supporter and we were 2-0 down at half time. Geting food and drinks was so slow that by the time we got back to our seats it was 2-2. (We just heard the roar from the away fans as the goals were going in)

    Still seems to be a few tickets left for this one that is surprising. I do think the new format of the ticketing site doesn't help or does the lack of communication from the club that there are some tickets still available as a lot will assume it is sold out.

    Expecting a tough match and hoping Ramsey is available for this one. With the home crowd behind us anything is possible as we have showed beating better teams than Spurs. UTV!

    Could be that - but apparently it was just the upgrade. Hopefully they will sort it!

    Sent a brief e-mail to the club last night (fancomplaints@avfc.co.uk) just mentioning that although the upgrade to the ticketing site has improvements it is now more difficult to see how many seats are available without having to click into each block. To my amazement I have received 2 e-mails from the club (one acknowledging the query and one asking me to call them). I also had received 2 missed calls from Villa this morning which I couldn't answer (as at work) and then Lee Preece called again (supporter liason manager) at lunch time which I answered. I spoke to him for 5 minutes or so and he said the club are going to try and get the seat issue changed and was something they have raised. Whether anything is actually done I guess we'll see but have to say I was impressed the way they reached out in relation to the query today. So definitely worth trying the above e-mail address if you have a complaint!

    Although some parts of the website change look better that part where you have to click into each block to see how many tickets are remaining is a terrible change.
